Steven Tan from Malaysia manufacture R spoiler & diffuser. Have a look at his post on RCZ Facebook group. He used to post it on the RCZ wanted & for sale group but I can't see it anymore so best to contact him directly.
Rocker cover for THP200 is a little harder to get. Just noticed you are located in NZ so might add to the challenge as can't imagine many RCZ there. I have a THP 200 & the Rocker cover cost me £80 & labour was an hour at £90 I think. Still an option to buy the cover from abroad. Rocker cover for...
Are you after the rocker cover? It's one of the more common issues with all RCZs. You are correct the rocker cover is the same for THP200 and RCZ R.
If you are after a rocker cover, this one will fit. I waited a long time before finding one.
Both from the same place...
I do wonder how much the dealer paid for it. Guessing it may need new front discs and at 166k miles could potentially do with suspension refreshed, etc. The one for £11k could be good value if all the recent work checked out.
I should really test drive one as I keep thinking may be I should...
Assuming you can still diamond cut the wheels a place near me do them for £95+VAT/wheel incl fitting and balancing or £55+VAT for powder coating.
Did you see the black one on FB group wanted and for sale page? 15 plate, 36,003 miles with transferrable Peugeot warranty for £16k?
Based on various posts, when you get your R ensure that the pistons have been changed to stainless steel rather than the original mild stainless steel which is likely to seize.
Godspeed sell upgraded pistons and seals...
Do you know what the fault codes are? There is an option to reconditioned the high pressure fuel pump. This person has been getting good reviews refurbishing this part. Looking at the ebay I think he might have messed up his pricing 1.6 THP High pressure fuel pump Mini Cooper. Peugeot RCZ...
Agree with Coldel comment above.
I got Halfords All Season, used it once to keep the car dry when I was doing some work on it. It rained quite heavily at one point and it did keep the car dry. However, I decided not to use it now as found it very hard to fold and store properly without getting...
MTEC such a good value and they seem to work fine for me. I do like the drilled look but decided to go with c hook and went for the protective coating in grey like yours.
Yes, definitely no quick option to do that. I've done it multiple times now and as long as you have the right tools, it's not too bad. Here is a link I used
For your info the rocker cover I bought for the Mini is fine. Supposedly in the past Mini owner's would buy Peugeot's ones as they were cheaper. Fortunately, in my case only Mini's one was the cheapest and available and luckily it's exactly the same.
Brock B37 alloy in dark sparkle suit the car very well. Another in Germany have them, 20" ones I think. I don't particular like the Disney decal though ;-)
Glad to hear replacing the PCV was nice and cheap. Ouch for needing a new turbo.
Touchwood mine generally been OK, however, I don't really get to use it that much. There is definitely some leak around my rocker cover so really hoping this Mini cover fits. Car is losing coolant at the moment...
Will hopefully be able to tell you by end of next week as taking car to a garage on Wed. I bought this one TVT Mini Cylinder Head Valve Cover 11127646552 | 11127646552 | Neo Brothers Searching on Google seems to suggest should be compatible for THP200/R. I'm taking a gamble as can't find...
No worries, I am taking mine to an independent Peugeot specialist as I believe the thermostat housing has a crack as losing coolant around the area. Also will get him to replace the rocker cover. Fingers crossed it's the right one. Will get him to inspect the car for anything which may need...
Just checked and my original one doesn't have the shield either. The new one I got which is supposedly the same as PSA 0248S7 is compatible for the following Minis.
Mini R55 Clubman 10-13 - Cooper S & JCW models with N18 engines
Mini R56 Hatchback 10-13 - Cooper S, JCW & GP2 models with N18...
