I found this youtube video to be very useful. As mentioned above make sure you let all the electrical systems shut down first before you disconnect the battery.
You need a video interface unit. https://www.phibu-electronics.com/ used to do one. Someone on FB group did it and was going to see if he can source it for other members. I think he mentioned it cost him around £350 and you have to install it yourself or pay for someone to do it.
You could just keep existing valance, just need to cut the other side. May not look as nice but can't really see it from a distance like someone has done here.
They were available new from Fish Brothers but it was £600-700. Crazy price for what it is. Unfortunately hard to come by second hand. There must be somewhere you can get a custom made one potentially cheaper than new original. I got a 2nd bumper with rear R valance, tips & exhaust from someone...
Yes, unfortunately, can be a guessing game. I had P1336, P1337 and P0351. FYI, I use Autel AP200 with Peugeot database. Car went into limp mode and fan went crazy. Thinking coil pack, plugs or potentially HPFP on the way out. Moved coil pack around the code didn't change. Clear the faults and...
My plan is not to replace the plugs and coils yet and if the codes come back then likely to get the HPFP refurbished first before replacing plugs and coil packs.
Moved the coil packs and problem didn't move. Coil packs are Delphi which I assumed are original as noticed a lot of parts are Delphis. I then decided to clear the faults and took it for a drive and the problem has not come back.
I have ordered new plugs and coil packs are likely to replace...
As you mentioned Pedro I will start with coil pack and plugs and then if I get the classic P0087 then might go down the refurb route as someone people have done that and seem to be very happy with it. I am expecting that I may have to replace or refurb HPFP at some point.
Thanks Pedro, will try moving the coil pack to see if the error code moves as well. If I remember correctly you recommend NGK coil pack don't you? Will look for NGK plugs as well. Just need to figure out the gap for a THP200, I think it's 7 or 8mm from memory.
First EML for me and limp mode all the way home.
Must be a coincidence but I filled her up with V Power and a not long after, EML came on and I lost power.
Stopped and fan was going crazy for 5-10 minutes.
I thought I had mistakenly put E10 rather than E5 V power but I was sure it was V...
Seen another been added on Autotrader by a dealer, no photos yet but it's black and 85k miles for £13,499. I wonder if it's the private one which was being advertised for £11k a few weeks ago.
Don't think you will have an issue selling it for around that price for an immaculate one as I am sure in current market you could get more than that.
Let me as well when you do sell as would be keen to check it out.
A number of people have used the guy & very happy. I assumed you are referring to this one Peugeot 207/208 GTi RCZ Citroen DS3/4 Mini cooper 1.6THP HPFP service and repair | eBay
Re battery removal, I find this video useful
