You have no idea how much crap we are dealing with.

Things to look for:
Carbon build up, clattering timing chain/tensioner.
Collapsed jacking points, some people have had thermostat housing leaks.
Failed coilpacks, high pressure fuel pumps.
Mine needed 1 coilpack, coolant level sensor, chain and tensioners. Oh and the sat nav hard drive...
You might find making it work for a living will do it good. It is a sports car after all!
It certainly didn't harm any of my Peugeot HDi cars.

I think you might find the over filled sump is because it's not re-generating, not causing it not to.
Be very careful, an elevated crankcase oil level can cause run away. Which you certainly do not want.
Unless you want a very dead RCZ.
If you have access to diagnostics i.e Have it yourself, you could do what I did when my RCZ started miss firing.
Swap coils and see if the code moves.
If it does, happy days, coil packs are about £20 each.
Mine would drive fine until I booted it then limp mode, and the engine fan ran after...
Personally, I'd bin it. I traded my RCZ in after the clutch started shrieking and it started making a chattering noise while idling.
Obviously not before the timing chain needed doing though, I must work on my timing* :roll:
