You don’t have to buy an original sensor there are plenty available but I’ve never tried any as I’m still on my 11 year old originals not bad to say life expectancy is 5 years! If you ha a MK1 then they need to be programmed with dealer software if you have a MK2 they don’t hope this helps
Hi, I’ve had the black diamond drilled and grooved with the black rust inhibitor coating they have been on the car almost 5 years now and still look as good as new although I don’t do mega Miles
I’ve got them all round and matched them with their pads I would highly recommend them👍
Hi and welcome, dont worry about possible future problems just enjoy your car, I’m tipping your young because insurance is relatively inexpensive for the RCZ, I’m paying £200 fully comp with all my modifications added too.
Hi and welcome, as with most cars there are common issues, with the RCZ petrol engines you can get oil leaks in a few common places the most commonest is the rocker cover gasket, then there’s timing chain tensioner and turbo oil feed pipe and oil filter housing and also oil cooler 🤦♂️

As previously mentioned there’s a big debate on wether a cover causes more damage than it saves but I think for a too cover your going to have to pay more than £200.
I know one R owner who bought a top cover and were over the moon with it but I’m sure it cost in excess of £200 his old post may...
Easy job to replace if you buy one just ask and I’ll let you know how to exchange it I bought mine from here cost around £170 inc shipping but we were in the EU then so I don’t know what the price will be now?
There is a guy on eBay offering a repair kit or you can buy the repair kit off him there has been a few posts on here regarding DIY repair a new unit is over £200 from dealers,I bought one from Holland for around £170 including delivery.
Yes I believe Peugeot did make updated parts, basically a revised tensioner and beefed up guides, but as you’ve mentioned there is a third tensioner now available.
I would personally buy a genuine kit but buying from Citroen may be cheaper than Peugeot or BMW
