    Economy Mode

Yeh there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason a battery coming to the end of its life will definitely bring it in more often but mine comes and goes and that’s with a recent new battery you just get used to it and eventually ignore 👍

    Timing Chain - Leeds Garage?

If the cars running sweet and doesn’t sound like a diesel from cold you should be good with the timing kit as long as you use good quality oil and keep an eye on the dipstick and don’t let it drop from max. Leather seat sagging

It’s something that has come up recently and to be honest I haven’t really noticed but I suppose if you scrutinise then yeh it’s common but I don’t think it detracts from the car at all

Would you remap the engine? (2014 Red Carbon 156bhp/1.6)

I had my 156 remapped about 4-5 years ago absolutely transforms the car and I’ve had no issues at all just stage 1 and extra fuel economy too! Totally win win. And allegedly a remapped 156 is quicker off the mark than a standard 200 due to gear ratio and the difference in turbo boost.👍🏻

    Here we go again.

There’s still plenty of MK2 cars needing new timing kits Pete even R’s are failing I know one R owner who’s on their second replacement 🤦‍♂️
