Morning all,
Sorry to open an old thread, but I've got to the point where my R has this issue.
Low speed brake squeaking has recently started and is gradually getting a tad worst. Its not a big issue yet, but will get more annoying I'm sure.
My R is 2 years old now (so still within warranty)...
Hi all,
So its at that time of year again, and even though most of us in the UK have been saved the snow and ice, we are bound to be hit at some time soon.
My 'R' is still running its original Eagle F1's and they are getting to the point where I need to change the fronts .
I can do this, but I...
Thanks all.
.....and thanks to Sanity for providing me with the ultimate incentive
OK, I'll go for it.
Despite being petrol, the 207SW can sound like a taxi on startup, so I may take here to our local dealer for a check of the timing belt tensioner before the current warranty runs...
Lo there.
After opinion on this. So its not an issue for my RCZ, but it will be at some point.
Wife's 207SW has come to the end of its standard warranty and PUK have sent us the Platinum Warranty renewal info.
So is this really worth the outlay?
£28.39 x10 instalments for the 207SW.
What are...
Hi folks.
Only just got round to doing this.
Initially it asked me for the Activation code and so I went through the process to get the activation code as per the word doc instructions. Was a little alarmed when this came back as "SE******_B****H" (for though who have done this - maybe you...
Lo there,
Just changed the Title of the event - as per the request from RCZ1.
I'm afraid my attendance is now looking decidedly in doubt, so rather than mess the organisers about I'd best to say I am a 'no show'.
Issues related to my home that really need addressing, and that's looking like...
Spotted south rugby yesterday. Was on bike on the way back home and it was going t'other way, so no chance of a pic.
Nearly rode into lamppost as i was watching it.
No Strickly stars in evidence

Welcome.
You have a stonking car, don't you know.
You will of course get the obligatory demand for pics on here, so peebs can slaver over it.
Just saying
Anyway. Enjoy your R - as I do with mine
Only word of warning - beware of folding jacking points. They are made of cheese. Check and...
Agreed.
In terms of timing, I'd imagine its going to be one of the first to go though, being probably the most niche/low-volume/low-overall-profitability
But yes, more unique - longer term more desirable.
Marry a pretty car with good dynamics and relatively low volumes, and as has been said =...
Personally I DON'T think you do see many RCZ's on the road. You only see them because you have one - therefore you notice any one that drives past you.
It was the same with my last car, and the car before that, etc..........
I don't have a TT, yet I do notice then - coz THEY are a'plenty. It's...
Indeed. Not wishing to say I told you so..........(OK well maybe I do. Ha)
But seriously this has been on the cards for ages, and reported from the CEO in Sept last year.
Its simple economics (even if the maths reported are somewhat laughable).
Its the same policy lots of companies take when...
I had a similar issue, but with my six month old "R" bought from a main dealer.
The car was the Managers old run-around.
When I got home I realised the handbook was not in the car.
I phoned the dealer and they said they would order a new one, and post it on.
It costs about a tenner for them so...
It fine mate, and btw I am absolutely not knocking the concept. All credit to you for the suggestion.
Yes - absolutely printing onto acetate is not what 3D printers are good for, they just make the solid bits.
TBH it you are able to break open the black holders you linked to on the thread above...
I like the concept, and have the orig Pug projector puddle lights.
Price seems steep though.
Isn't there scope here for 3D printing plus an in-expensive filter to complete this.
That's got to be a lot less than 20 to 30quid (+ plus the cost of the housing ~10quid)
Because we are talking a small...
The Hankooks were quoted for my Wifes Pug at local dealer. not a RCZ, but checking then out they seem good VFM.
For the 235/40/R19s you can get them for a shade over 120quid each from Tyreleader (plus fitting - local garage - about 10-20quid a go). 'A' rated grip in the wet which is better than...
Well it seems to work OK, and my bike didn't melt.
Yes Abz, I am fully lube'd (ooh, err, missis)
At the risk of ridicule/abuse (for posting a bike on a car forum) here is a pic of my snowfoamed bike (I think I got away with it by adding a car in the background)
And here's it all shiny like.
OK, so the Solar eclipse :geek: has been and gone, and its back to reality again.
I am out to snow-foam the R this afternoon after work.
I also have dirty bikes.
My nice Specialized road bike really needs a good ol clean before I use it tomorrow.
So anyone snow-foamed their bikes, and did...
Got to say I am a little amazed by Abz take on boots.
For a man that obviously loves and looks after his wheels, skimping on new tyres comes as a surprise.
As I have the R, and all that traction through 2 front wheels I am not going the cheap route. Will probably be F1's again or something...
