Thanks so much for your advice. I just worry because of the stupid computer alert but I trust me reading the oil plus the professionals at the garage rather than the car!!
I’ve had the car a while it’s no longer under warranty. I’ve booked it in for a full oil change just to give me peace of mind. Then if the fault persists I’ll have to manually monitor my oil. Although this thread makes me nervous about the reliability of the dip stick!
Hi just to add to this I have a RCZ. The oil light has randomly come on out of nowhere. Took it to the garage and they said the oils level is fine. Could this be a sensor fault?
Really not something I would attempt myself. I’d rather get a garage to do it. Just wonders if anyone has paid to have it done and how much it cost them
Hi I have been told that the water in my footwell is caused my fault in heating Matrix. This means I need a new one. I’m aware that it is a big job. I just wondered if anyone else has had this done and how much it costs?
I’m thinking it’s the matrix as it’s not rained for 2 weeks so it can’t be rain water. The other thing that’s confusing is I’m not loosing coolant and the liquid has no signs of having coolant in it! It’s definitely just water! It’s very mysterious
Hi found water in driver footwell I’m pretty confident it’s water and not coolant. I have a garage check.
could the water be from a air con leak? Although I’ve not used the air con for over a year and it’s blowing warm air!
it’s such a mystery. We have had no rain so I know it’s not leaking in.
I checked and it’s wet again! Took it to 2 separate garages and they have no idea what is causing it, they both confirmed that it doesn’t smell of coolant and the heating inside the car is working ok! So confusing and...

I have RCZ year 2010 recently I have found a large amount of water in the driver side footwell. I took it to the garage, they checked all heating aspects, pipes, heating Matrix etc and found no problem. They slowly poured water around the...
