Could water leak be air con

Hi found water in driver footwell I’m pretty confident it’s water and not coolant. I have a garage check.
could the water be from a air con leak? Although I’ve not used the air con for over a year and it’s blowing warm air!

Air con is Gas pressurized system unless your heater matrix is leaking you may have water ingress from door seals roof seals or entering the Air intake under the windscreen seal

I’m thinking it’s the matrix as it’s not rained for 2 weeks so it can’t be rain water. The other thing that’s confusing is I’m not loosing coolant and the liquid has no signs of having coolant in it! It’s definitely just water! It’s very mysterious
