Apart from the very expensive brakes most of the running costs of the R are fine. Many cars run 19" tyres, servicing isn't too bad, road tax is fine, insurance is low, and fuel economy can be really good if you're driving normally.
A proper track car is a lot more focussed than the R. A track...
A few years ago I'm sure they were as low as £650. Every time I double check they have gone up in price. £1348 RRP is very expensive. So is £1120.
You can get two piece floating Brembo brakes for a Nissan GTR for half the price. Genuine Audi RS3 2 piece discs are less than half the price.
Talking about parts the price of genuine front discs continue to rise.
RRP is now £674 per disc and Fish Brothers have them for £560 each. £1120 for a pair of brake discs. 😭
They are suggesting the car is a trade in to clear. They won't offer warranty and are leaving the refurbishment to the buyer.
They aren't asking trade value or they would put it through the auction and get trade money. They are selling it for retail value without preparation or consumer...
Quite a few Rs have come on to the market in the last few days after a quiet spell. Apart from the cheapest cars nothing has sold.
This garage looks like a bunch of chancers. The car is too old for their stock profile, but they are still trying to sell it for retail value.
If it doesn't fit...
An ignition coil is burning? Ignition coils are cheap and easy to change.
Blue smoke is usually burning oil. The car also failed another MOT a few thousand miles ago for Exhaust hydrocarbon content after 2nd fast idle exceeds manufacturer's specified limits.
The mileage on the advert is less...
I think a nice silver always works. They suit all colour of car.
I see some of the finishes that places do and they look very good. They are sensitive to the colour of the car if they suit.
This is black gold. I really like the colour, but I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to have my wheels done.
There is a place in Birmingham that charges £30 if you supply the wheel without a tyre. £40 if you want tyre fitting and balancing. It wasn't so long ago they were only £20!

For 19" wheels around here it's about £100 for powdercoat and...
I noticed days after getting the F Type things weren't right. The Jaguar dealer took the car back for an inspection and conceded it needed too much work. No chance it passed the approved used checklist. They offered me the chance to reject, but then became difficult to get all my money back...
How long have you had the car and what are the faults?
How old and how many miles does the RCZ have?
How did you pay for the car? If you have finance speak to them first. I always pay a deposit on a big purchase with my credit card for protection.
I've had to reject a few cars including a...
The market is quiet at the moment.
I think when you're looking for a private sale you need to do the preparation. If the lights are an easy DIY job then you should do simple jobs like that.
The next MOT and service are weeks away. MOT, service, brakes, wheels, lights all impending is...
A low mileage one has come up today.
Long-term they will go up in value. Like the rest of the car market the prices are currently on a downward trend.
It looks like the car priced at £9890 has sold.
The R market has been quiet for a while. A couple have come up recently.
There is a dealer selling a 2015 one owner car for £9890.
It passed an MOT yesterday with 65,000 miles without advisory. The front discs look too worn to me not to be flagged as an advisory.
Here is a RCZ diesel for someone.

That didn't take long to get back on the road.
It now has silver roof arches.
The shut lines don't look too great around the...
