2011 RCZ PASSENGER DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR

Not my my Z but got to 86,000 on my wife's Citreon C4 which we got in 2013 with 3,000 on the clock.

Diesel particulate filter warning light illuminated.

Normally when a DPF warning light comes on initially a good run sorts it. When it goes to the stage of it being hard on the filter needs a clean. There is a whole industry set up now just doing DPF cleaning. If you are doing short journeys on a daily basis, then a diesel car is not the option to...

Washer bottle pump. 2011 HDi GT.

Even better if you can, lift the wipers so they don't freeze to the windscreen at all.

    Interior lights

When you have something different from the norm, people notice. I have had comments about my blue internal lights and people are surprised that it is a cheap and easy thing to do.

    Rear wing fault.

I used to have a problem with mine struggling to open and close. This was because the drain holes were blocked and water built up and couldn't drain away. A clean out of the holes with a wooden skewer and some WD40 sorted that out. Maybe it is just a simple as that.

Soggy bottoms - leather dash care

Yep glad I don't have leather dash, wipe with a cloth and the jobs a good up. For the seats I use a spray on a leather cleaner then use a leather cleaning wipe to spread and all the lanolin in the wipe comes out. Once dry, rub with a cloth and it comes up lovely.

    Hey.

I'd never wipe the wife down after a wash.

    Update!!!!

I had exactly the same problem a few weeks ago. New set of plug's (old set were original's) and a new coil all OK. Went up and down M53/A55 yesterday at warp factor 11, with no issue at all. With replacement parts being so cheap these day's along with free delivery, I am going to get spare's...

RCZ R pictures just after collection

We have two wire haired Dachshunds, Henry & Elsie. Henry we got as a puppy, Elsie is his half sister we got after she had been bred out with 4 litter's and was going to be put down. More in common than just car's.

Ginge, do it, if you don't like them, quick job to change back.

    Animated side indicators....

That is exactly what I used, a butter knife with a cloth under it. I pinched mine off the wife, it is the old type about 1/2 inch wide blade rounded at the end and very thin. I bent it slightly about 1/4 inch from end of blade, so that once under the lip, the bend rolls on the cloth and out it...

    Torque Settings

Most of the online suppliers give a min and max torque setting for the spark plugs so it is anywhere in between. As Pedro say's they only need a little nip up to make sure there is a good seal.

Rear Brakes locked on due to frost !!

Good point on that, I had exactly the same issue this morning. Just ran out and took the handbrake off.

One day and engine management light is on HELP HELP!!

I had exactly the same problem a couple of weeks ago which was diagnosed as cylinder 4 misfire. My garage changed the coil pack on that cylinder along with all of the plugs as they were the original's, all in £182.00. Touch wood, everything OK up to date.

    Advice on engine compartment

Although it looks rather dirty all is there. I would look at sorting the crushed pipe from the air intake as it might restrict the air flow.

    New rcz owner

You haven't just got a car, it is a bloody good submarine as I found out yesterday. The door seals are fantastic.

    RCZ R brake downsizing

Might seem a stupid point. Are any brakes other than the manufacturer's standard a "modification"?. I know from seeing some of the link's provided on this forum, that discs from various suppliers can be drilled, bigger or coloured and not "standard". Obviously going smaller is a non starter...

It had to happen at some point. New engine required....

It might be on the R, it isn't on my 156, might as well not be there, the use it is. May as well lick your finger and hold it in the air.

It had to happen at some point. New engine required....

Whilst saying keep the oil at max, the dipstick is bloody impossible to trust. You cannot tell if it is at max or min, the dash warning is the only accurate indication. I have found that out by experience, thought I had oil in until the light came on, dipstick is unreliable.
