I am thinking about a re-map which at my local garage I use for everything will cost £350.00 and increase up to 190 BHP.
Question's:- Is it really worth the money? is there any real noticeable difference? What are the implications insurance wise? Do the brakes need upgrading?
Excuse the...
When I had my MG I used Autoglym products. Apart for the roof cleaner, which was a specific product, and great, other applications no better than any other product.

Whilst I appreciate that members like to spend a large amount of money on cleaning products, I like to go the cheap way.
Home Bargains sell 20 Micro fibre cloths in a pack for £3.29.

When I got mine last February the battery died within 1 month, as I had a 3 month warranty, I got a replacement F.O.C. under the warranty, even though the dealer said it was checked as part of their inspection.
That's what I thought about the windows but I have no clue on what the law is regarding tinting the front & rear light clusters, although I would have thought PC Plod would have something to say if he saw them out on the road.

We have a 2102 Citreon C4 Diesel for the wife as well as my RCZ. Like you I think the engine on the C4 is cracking and has never given an issue in 60,000 miles.
When the two cars are together with the bonnet up on 1st glance you would swear they are the same engine.
I just want to confirm something about the mirrors letting water drip down the door as mine is a 2010.
When the mirrors are not folded in, the problem is not apparent except when the car is washed?
When the mirrors are folded, it drips water down the door come rain or wash?
It just that I...
Don't forget that when you put your seatbelt on, you nearly always pull too much to clip in and it then rewinds to take up the slack, thus winding the switch back.
From the information provided in other posts, isn't this engine type fitted in vehicles of other manufacturers and I believe the Mini is one of them?
I just wonder if asking around the other dealers to see if they have come across this problem in any of their vehicles would help.
Finally got to the bottom of this which has been bugging me, as with the drop in temperature, I have started using the heated seat function.
It's the seat belt!! When you unclip it and let it go back it catches the dial and rolls it back. It's not my arse or my leg, so no need for a diet.
I have having an issue with the gear change in that when the car is cold, the gear change is notchy, especially 1st - 2nd, yet when it gets warm, it is OK. Is it just the Gearbox Oil?
He just parked it outside the front door on the normal car park in his usual spot, in theory any fool could bump into it but his attitude is if you have got it drive it.
At least with this McLaren he has a front number plate, with his last one, the number plate was shoved on the top of the...
Is the smell apparent when you 1st enter the car or after a short period of time driving?
If it is there when you 1st get in it could be due to something in the cabin.
