Finally got to the bottom of this which has been bugging me, as with the drop in temperature, I have started using the heated seat function. It's the seat belt!! When you unclip it and let it go back it catches the dial and rolls it back. It's not my arse or my leg, so no need for a diet.

I have having an issue with the gear change in that when the car is cold, the gear change is notchy, especially 1st - 2nd, yet when it gets warm, it is OK. Is it just the Gearbox Oil?
