Surely something must be causing them to blow? Osram is a very reputable brand who are OE suppliers to most car manufacturers and they wouldn't fail that often without reason. Upgrade bulbs generally don't have as long a life as standard ones but not to that extent!
I've made a few posts along these lines. I believe it would have been better if Kerry and Ron (and Sharon also?) hadn't reacted in the way they did against wrapper because I think it probably egged him on. Sometimes it's better to ignore a prat rather than react to him..... All the same they...
That's one of the things which has made it a more pleasant place to be than other forums but I agree some people may have slightly overreacted to the obviously deliberate provocation. Let's hope they'll be back in circulation soon!
I can't think what this stands for. Can you or anyone else...
Goodness knows what newcomers to this forum must think! It's certainly not giving the impression of being the friendly positive place it really is (or at least was).
Personally whilst I don't disagree with everything wrapper posts he has obviously systematically tried to provoke other forum...

Sooty staining on the exhaust is fairly normal and anyway indicates burnt fuel rather than oil. You need to investigate the cause of the oil loss further.
Hi, it's not clear from your post if you are saying that the oil level really is dropping or the warning message is saying it has. If the former you have one type of problem, if the latter it is a sensor problem. My car has now done 29k miles and I have only once had to top it up by a small...
Gyxx, I've looked at the Peugeot parts list and it looks like the cabling to the SatNav unit is part of the fascia panel wiring harness which is not good news as it means it isn't available as a separate part. Can someone check me on this? If I'm right I guess you'd have to do an 'unofficial'...
The S5 is quoted as:
The one I quoted originally is an S4 which I would have expected to be the standard battery. With the S5 you have upgraded. By the way Bosch and Varta batteries are one and the same - different branding.
