This is the one I'm getting, I've seen plenty of photos from people posting about using this exact one...its plug'n'play, does everything you need and brings the interior into the 2020's...
I ended up getting a pre-purchase inspection on the car in question just to confirm my own suspicions.
The guy happily took it in for the inspection but wasn't very happy once it came out as I told him its not much better than a statutory write-off.
The report would give any mechanic...
Yeah even with gutter rash, price is still cheaper getting respray.
However to give you an idea, I've had quotes done on my Alfa Romeo 159 wheels and was quoted by Wheel Buddy at about $1000 for all 4, which included fixing the gutter rash etc.
On Ozzy Tyres for instance, the lowest priced...
Hi mate, if you like the wheels, definitely get them resprayed, will be cheaper than buying brand new ones.
If you don't mind me asking, did you get yours off Carsales? And if so, was it the silver one from QLD?
By the way, saw your old profile on the Shannon site, I see you're a fellow Alfa...
Definitely get the temp sensor changed before you do anything else, it's a relatively cheap part, easy to replace and almost certain that is the issue.
Thanks mate. You might be right about the steering wheels but the center screen in the cluster isn't quite right. Here are interiors from two 1.6T autos in Australia right now, one with satnav and one without, both have the large center screen.
That might be true in the UK that the smaller screen is there in a certain version but that doesn't look to be the case in Australia, as every RCZ I compared it to is an auto and they all had the bigger screen in the cluster except his.
Australia doesn't always get every model variant or options...
Bit of a story here...I've been looking for an RCZ for a few weeks, really absorbing everything about them, what quirks and features they have, the possible issues etc.
I focused on one in particular that was priced reasonably low and looked ok on the face of it. The one thing that stood out...
Yeah I plan on doing this on a white RCZ - headlights black, adding LED light strips to the headlights and finally blackening the foglight area, just as you see in the pic below. I think the LED light strip particularly gives it a contemporary supercar look:
Legend, thanks for that! Maybe I need to improve my googling skills, I couldn't find anyone with this done in my search.
I didn't actually check AliExpress because I've never bought anything off them, I've cruised the site before looking at other stuff but I'm a bit apprehensive about what the...
Looking to add some modern supercar look to the RCZ, found this picture with LED strips in the headlights and want to do the same thing, has anyone done this particular mod before?
Yeah did this myself on an Alfa Romeo 159 19" wheel, I have to say, I enjoyed the experience and it turned out great BUT, the more complex the wheel design then the more of a pain in the ass it is to sand and fill etc.
So, although I was happy with the end result, I wouldn't do again lol...
Hi Mate, sorry can't help you with the door seal but I'm actually looking to buy an RCZ now for my wife and daughter, are you interested in selling? If you are, lets have a chat and see if we can come to a deal, we have cash ready to go. I'm in Melbourne, cheers. Mick
