Not a bad deal. I actually went pretty far down the road with a white 2011 auto that was under 100k on the odo BUT had an engine change. Could of gotten it for $12k but it just had too much wrong with it that even the low price couldn't justify getting it. Some others around the $14k to $15k...
I wondered if you snagged one I was looking at because I've just spent the last 3 weeks looking for the right one and a couple of white ones were on the short list, But ultimately the sellers were delusional with their asking prices lol
This AT6 trans (with Tiptronic System Porsche) can withstand a maximum torque of 300Nm.
With that in mind, the engine in the THP156 has 115kW (154hp) with 240Nm torque so it's not problem for the auto trans.
However if you were to chip it to the THP204 level, which has 150kW (201hp) with 275Nm...
So many to choose from though, some give measurements and some simply say 'Large, Medium or Small' etc.
Any idea the sizes required for the RCZ? I'm leaning towards Medium for front and Small for the rears but that is just a guess
Hi all, I've been unable to find the answer in the forum search so deferring to the experts again!
I don't like the faded look of the front emblem/badge area and I want to separate the lion from the black background so I can do a proper renew job, is the emblem just stuck on with really good...
Isn't it virtually the same engine as found in a Peugeot 308 (T7)? Surely there would be plenty of places to source that. I can't imagine too many differences between the 308 and RCZ, maybe engine mounts and various hoses (pure guesses of course) but surely he could reuse most of the surrounding...
Damn, that would have been great. Guess I'll have to wait a whole year for the next one lol. Are there any other similar car days coming up in Melbourne or surrounds? Would hate to miss the next one.
Actually, I looked it up on AliExpress but results are mixed. I've never shopped there, did your BPGA module come from overseas or was it from a local seller?
Hi all, I've just taken delivery of a 2011 (1.6T auto, non-satnav) which I've posted about in the 'Newbies' section however, after a few days of travelling I now have some interesting quirks show up and wondered if they are common or not.
So we took this on a 10hr round trip and two strange...
Thanks mate, I made it very clear to the dealer that I wanted it polished up before collection and detailed properly, wanted to make sure the experience of picking it up was good for my wife!
Some pleasant surprises have been finding the cargo net for the boot unused in original packaging, was...
Greetings all, finally joined the RCZ flock and got a 2011 Auto (non-satnav). Been going over the car with a fine tooth comb and making a list of all the little tweaks we want to do. Other than that, very happy with this low kay example with full service history and bought from an official...
Absolutely you don't need to use a cable anymore, they have bluetooth so you can connect straight up.
Now, I haven't used one of these devices with Carplay so cannot comment on how good that is but I have used Android Auto no problems in other units like this, I would think as these types of...
Yes 4GB is acceptable which is why I suggested you get that one you showed me. However, to be completely sure of the experience, I always try to get more than 4GB ram in any of these things, at least 6GB so if you can find any with 6 or 8 then that would be my personal recommendation.
Because...
Despite the 'brand' names being different and some very slight differences here and there (like the heat sink you pointed out), all of those types of systems are made in China at the same few factories.
Anyone can fly to China, go directly to one of those factories and place an order for...
Park it on a basically flat surface (as in, not a steep driveway) and let it sit so you give it time for a good deal of oil to run back down into the sump.
Then after lets say an hour, use the dipstick to check and you'll get a proper reading. If the dipstick shows the oil is at max, then you...
