That may to due to the fact that garages don't want them anymore due to the fact they are high maintenance and they are getting all the shitters on trade in which are not worth the hassle with their standard warranty given the ridiculous price of parts for the R.
We will be probably going to...
I had a very slight rattle last year, tbh it was something and nothing, took to Peugeot as I am under warranty, they replaced water pump pulley and friction wheel, they said there was a fracture in the water pump pulley, all is deadly silent now.
I can’t imagine it being a difficult job if your...
Love your write ups RCZ-R, real world experience unlike the crap posted across most forums.
I think the problem for us in the UK is you can’t really drive the R to it’s full potential unless you track it.
I would love to drive the R flat out like you have, to fully appreciate the engine.
Hopefully this isn’t going to be an ongoing argument chaps, think we all share the same passion for the R, always good to have a debate.
Anyway the latest R on AT has some interesting touches, just don’t understand why people want to mess about with the R with mods, strange….
My neighbour has one that he races, he swears by them, he has many cars and it is one of his favourites, they must be very good, I am trying to get a drive of it!

Yes thank you, Kerr had put me in the picture a few days before much appreciated.
Its getting really hard now to put a price on a decent R, trouble is you very rarely see good ones come up now.
when you say your looking at a completely different car, you mean a different make?
Yes some bargains out there, don’t know what’s going on with the wheels, it has a poor MOT history too, budget tyres doesn’t look like it’s been loved.
For someone looking to get into one on a budget and just drive, them maybe worth it.
I still maintain you have to pay decent money for a good...
Not sure why you would want to use a cleaner if your having no problems?
Yes it’s well documented that direct injection engines can suffer from carbon build up on the valves, but TBH I wouldn’t be looking around inside if I have no problems.
I have noticed when my car goes to Peugeot for a...
They are not shared, also they are difficult to find second hand Undamaged.
I bought a new one a while ago due to mine having damage on the underside, TBH most people wouldn’t have even bothered but I like things perfect.
The price for a genuine one from Peugeot was eye watering, even the...
