I thought those codes posted by Pete were well understood in the RCZ sphere that if you get those code/s then the hpfp was usually the culprit.
My own hpfp issue in 2019 threw up 3 of these codes together and no P0087 code (low fuel pressure), as I posted this week in another thread and both...
Used to be just air fuel spark.........and off you go:) now the systems can create huge headaches and almost work against the home spannering with their foibles and almost 'mis information/diagnosis'
When you have two cylinders or more misfiring and the codes P1336 1337 etc coming up then the fuel pump should definitely be tested, I did not have a P0087 code when my HPFP went South and the THP has I believe slightly different fault code meanings to generic codes. You may have a faulty coil I...
Whilst each case is different I had those codes when my fuel pump went...may I suggest you get someone who know's what they are doing and get a code reader from eBay for around a tenner so you can read and reset codes etc. Have a look on here there are loads of posts about HPFP failure, codes...
I am sure he has been trying to sell that car on that site for around 2 years...price has dropped from high £20's...he may be in sane realistic territory now....
Read an article about used car prices. Pretty obvious as we all know now is the time to sell (not to buy)....with prices predicted to fall (crash was the term KPMG used) in 24 months time, they gave 4 scenarios (low demand, high supply, high demand, low supply...pretty obvious) all of which led...
Same mechanic/garage for all the work? If that is the case they have failed to solve the issue and cost you ££s and the problem is still not fixed. First thing I would be doing is finding a garage/independent that actually knows what they are doing and has the expertise to work on the car.
Yep misfire HPFP or coil pack etc....but there have been a couple of issues documented on here with cars with low compression on one cylinder usually 4th cylinder, with huge implications.
Brief article about R's future classic status:
Peugeot RCZ R
(Peugeot)
It’s a testament to the RCZ R’s styling that it still looks modern today, with its double-bubble glass section at the rear proving to be one of the all-time great styling touches. The R version took things one step further...
Think there are two types of HPFP supplied (?) the 156 uses the cheaper one and the 200/R use the much more expensive variety, guess there are pattern HPFP's, if I was purchasing a new one given the issues on these things and their failure rate for owners I would go OE from Peugeot (heard the...
Mine made a moo type noise infrequently when pulling away or reversing and a rattle at idle. The clack went away with the clutch pedal depressed. From DKZ posts thought it was the DMF breaking up/failing and asked MD to look at it during the service last year, it was thankfully all replaced...
Can't see the £23K one shifting days before Christmas......
New one listed on AT, white £18,750 with 58K miles. All on AT now white. New one makes the MD one at 17K more saleable, cheaper with lower mileage.
I was tempted on MrX's 166K mile one for my daily, was thinking of viewing as I know it has been cared for and is 20miles away etc but the choice was already made for me when it went.
