I'd gladly sell you mine as I absolutely hate it, but sadly there is no way to replace it with an aftermarket one. I hate the screen, I hate the functionality, but I'm completely blocked at replacing it.
Should not be a problem, the engine is capable of using a much higher E value for gasoline.
I would suggest buying an OBD2 scanner for 20 quid and seeing the problem yourself. If your mechanic knows what he's doing, then it should be fixable in a week (if in need of parts). When my RCZ was...
That is great news!
Thanks for the review. Always wanted one of those, but currently only have the cheap AUX one (it does the job but the quality is below average).
Shame for the parking sensors.
Can you make a video of it working?
Is this garage trustful? As with what I see, they are throwing everything at the engine (chain, HPFP, cat) to see what sticks and it does not fix the error.
There is no external fuel filter on the RCZ (except on some African models). You'll then replace the internal tank filter although that should not be a problem. What does your OBD2 reading suggest might be the issue?

If it does not work, sadly Dropbox suspended my links. I’m in a hospital so I’ll fix them in couple of weeks.
Maybe try this - https://psa.download.navigation.com/automotive/PSA/RT6-SMEGx/M49RG20-Q0420-2001.ZIP?fbclid=IwAR1euQCN95ThbNSpNANBw8ud7OaMPlsh-igUl0IkDHlULL_zszeimowdEoo
Keep in mind, there are no JAVA files included in the zip that are needed to complete the installation. They are linked...
Glad to hear that the issue is resolved. I had the same issue - twice! :D
First time I only replaced one and after three months another died.
Then replaced the remaining three.
Glad to hear that everything went smoothly, although be aware that there are no POI on the 2021 maps provided in the first link.
There are new March 2022 RISK AREAS available, and 2022-0 maps with POI (icons, not searchable).
EDIT: LINKS UPDATED with 2022 MAPS and 3/2022 RISK AREAS!
Here:
It should take you no longer than 5min to switch the two middle ones and check if the error jumped.
On the video is the 156HP engine (if you have 200, your coils are diagonally but should make no difference in removing them).
Is this the only visible code?
This indicates that one coil is not working properly - the one on cylinder 2.
What I would do is switch the middle two ignition coils. They are plug and play. If the error number switches - happy news as you’ll only need to replace the coil (they are about 20£...
They help. Unfortunately, this SatNav does not offer BT music streaming.
I have the same one and BT will only work with handsfree.
There are couple of solutions. I wrote the NG4 breakdown on FB. Here are the screenshots.
I have 0w30 in my engine and the valve stem seals and piston rings leak heavily. I'm losing 1L oil per 1,7k kilometers. 5w30 fully synthetic should be better, although my mechanic flat out told me, for the THP engine 5w40 and nothing else.
The car has 128.000 kilometers and will have an oil...
You can try unplugging the battery for 15minutes the replugging it and starting the car.
Only sure way to see and clear codes is with an OBD2 reader. Even the most basic one will give you an option to check the codes and delete them.
I personally use iCar Pro (Amazon) with CarScanner on my...
If the car is in limp mode (lost 80% of power) you cannot be sure it's a fuel injector because the car is not running as it should - so the sound is not as it should be.
Did he clear the codes? If he didn't and just started the car - the error was stored in the ECU and the car would start in...
Yes. Usual error when coming to 10/12. Then the 0x26E error, reboot and normal continuation until 12/12. Maps so far seem fine, as they should.
EDIT: Route guidance works (with voice guidance aswell). POI are visible (photo). TMC is also active (photo), although there was nothing to notify me...
