So, I bought an aftermarket alloy gear knob. Its perfect, amazing feeling in hands when driving, seems smaller and shorter than original.
One thing - during summer, beware of leaving your car outside in the heat. I almost cooked my hand on it. I had the car parked outside at work, the gear knob...
As per recommendation here, I'll try next service interval with 0w30 and compare the performance then.
P.S. Nice to see another RCZ owner from Slovenia.
Not necessarily. Lots have to do with driving style and also the maker of the oil. Some THP engines love some xyz motor oil and wont burn anything away. Nothing is wrong with THP engines using oil (mine uses around 1l every 5k km).
I hate the high clutching point, but I think there is no way to adjust it.

I cannot seem to find Total Ineo 0w-30 on the official Total Data Sheet: OUR FULLY SYNTHETIC RANGE
In the 0w30/0w40 I can only find Total Quartz 9000 Energy.
Also, are there any issues if I change it from 5W30 to 0W30 during regular maintenance? I know that some % of old oil remains in the car...
I've seen here that the recommended oil is Total 5W30, but my mechanic is putting Total 5W40 in most PRINCE engine cars. Is this okay - longterm wise?
I've called around two or three garages and they all said 5W40 for the RCZ engine due to better long-term timing chain performance.
What do...
Mine has white smoke visible when stationary - during colder and more humid weather. I've seen couple of other RCZs doing the same, so I think its fine.
Its as reliable as any other car. If its properly maintained, you shouldn't worry about it. Also, a lot depends on your luck as to how the previous owner took care of it. Although, 5K even in pounds seems a little low to me. I paid 10k EUR for 13' year with relatively low mileage.
What you...
A friend tried to adapt the maps, with some parts from Audi but could not manage to make it work. The maps did show up, but there was no road navigation. He said he'll keep working on them, but he gave no timeline as to where he might make them work.
So, I left the windows open while at home because it was around 35C outside and I hate the feeling of a sauna when entering the car. Unfortunately, there was some bird or a car that landed on the door on the driver's side because the leather is heavily scratched there. What is the best thing to...
