If possible, I would use a 32GB USB Drive. I had some issues where NG4 did not recognize my 64GB and higher drives. Otherwise, you have everything ready. Just keep in mind, that you need to keep only one thing on the drive at any time. But this order of installation (FW -> Maps -> Risk Areas)...

Do you have an iPhone by any chance? My phone does this from time to time with my AirPods. Works for weeks and then stops connecting. I have to delete the pairing and reconnect. Then it works again for several weeks.
