Had it rained a lot prior to finding the wet carpet? Mine did it once, same place, after lots of rain. I assumed it had got in through a door seal. Dryed it out and hasn't happened again so, yeah, weird!
Think of it as a palate cleanser. You've got used to the power and style of driving an RCZ now and it just wants to remind you how great it is and not to get cocky by showing you how lesser road users have to drive all the time! 🤣
Drive it a bit and it will usually sort itself out. The ECU has detected some sort of perceived fault and has decided to protect the engine by engaging limp mode. If the fault does not appear again in X amount of miles though, everything will be turned on once more for you. 👍
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Get one of these and it will save you £££: Autel AP200 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner Code Reader with Full Systems Diagnoses, AutoVIN, Oil/EPB/BMS/SAS/TPMS/DPF Resets
I 100% recommend it but don't just take my word for it, read the reviews. 👍
Don't forget the wiring loom will need extending on both sides too to compensate for the extra distance of the doors when open ....which sounds like a bit of a pain!
I swapped mine to 19's. Didn't notice much of a difference in ride quality at all to be honest. 19's fill the arches perfectly though and just look right so I would recommend it. 👍
