Are you sure the spoiler doesn't rise on its own? You can't tell if it does or not from just using rear view mirror (unless it's stage 2 at 95mph!).

You should be fine. There's a rev-limiter to bounce off so obviously you didn't get that high. And, of course, they wouldn't have installed one if they didn't expect you to use it!

Or you can have them repaired in a solid single colour instead if you prefer, which is cheaper.

I like that idea! I would love to have these on the side panels just in front of the mirrors but the curve of the car has scuppered that idea currently...

The black part is paint infill so I expect it would crack if bent like that but let us know how you go on if you try it.

But the latch for the back seats is in the boot... 🤔 Can't you just use the boot button above the rear number plate?

I don't off the top of my head but it's not cheap - I remember that much! There is a guy on the Facebook RCZ owners club that has a replica one available though. Looks just like the real thing and cost about £385 including UK shipping I believe (will be more to Oz). You'll need to paint it too...
