Had a follow up appointment today with consultant after my 2nd MRI scan, it went as I expected really, confirming what we already knew, apart from the bit when he said he's arranging a lumbar puncture in the next month or so :?

So something to look forward to then :eusa-think:

On a positive note, my electricity supplier has reduced my direct debit by 43p a month. :eusa-whistle:

Mrs H has already decided we are going on holiday with the savings.

Not quite the same as reducing their prices, but amazing how some people view it as the same thing :eusa-whistle:

Lovely little Sherlock reference there dude!! Given that I average three hours of slept a night, I have abandoned restricting my caffeine intake to break times. Instead I favour a Bodum thermos flask and a kettle. Boom!!!

Honestly, life as a teacher is a lot like being Pavlov's dog. In the holidays, one can come close to panic...how else do we know when we can eat, pee, poop etc?!

I was so late to the new Sherlock. I remember channel hopping to an episode for a few minutes when it was first broadcast and thinking it looked interesting and then forgot about it. Then last year my much better half bought me the first two series on dvd and I was utterly hooked within minutes. Superb series!

I can't stay away from this lady. I have been able to get a ticket to see her in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

I love this womans work. I do not know why it affects me so. My better half accompanied me three times but point blank refuses to accompany me anymore. Due to circumstances I missed seeing her last year but as my personal dark tunnel appears shorter than I'd thought it to be, means that I have the confidence to book myself a personal box at the Georgian Theatre Royal. This will be a real treat. She is a person and not an icon. I can talk with her and even has a meal at the same table as her. She came into the same restaurant (alone), as I was using before going to her show, she recognised me a asked if she could join me.

Clearly she's very grounded!! So you're going to see her in your own box...on your own? That's bold dedication! Is that not rather expensive?!

We can't always explain why people's music/voice moves us so but I fully understand!!

On a different note, I'm pleased to hear that your personal circumstances are improving!! We were quite worried about you for a time! Would you care to elaborate?

Yep. On my lonesome. At least that way I can participate in the show as a backing singer, without causing offence to anybody else

I have had it confirmed that an element of my legal fees has been cancelled, this has saved me £7200. I'm still earning albeit pocket money. My fixed term contract ended on the 10th January but they say that I am to become their first and only direct employee and finally I have been offered a family car (in 2 weeks time) that means Pearl2 can be placed into semi retirement and cease to be abused in the way that she has been these past few months.

That's excellent news. Ron without Pearl is as unimaginable as this forum without Ron! :D

Not too sure how to take that :eusa-think: I'll assume it to be positively
