Could buy a dongle for the laptop. Surf around and you can be sure to find a good deal with a high data allowance.

Something such as these:

Essentially they allow you to create your own mobile wi fi hotspot. Data allowance refers to how much data you can access/download over a period of time. Given that is sounds as though you are about to start a new job (congrats on that!) I would consider one that you pay for as you go with.

Dongle - I use one every day - on the 3 network . you can even buy pay as you go ones - so just load up £20 and see how long it lasts you. That way no contract and you only use what you pay for . You can even but them in tescos .

So those dongles look like memory sticks. Assuming then that I would plug that into my laptop. So why would they vary so much in price? Are there different qualities or something? Would they all work on my BT system or would I need to change to 3G?

Congrats too, assuming like Rizz that you have a new job opportunity?

When you're away from home Wi-Fi hotspots or 3g are your only options as your BT hub will have a range measured in feet, not miles

Don't discount the Asus Fonepad that RCZ1 mentioned, for example, it has something like a 7" screen so the same size as a typical tablet and can also act as a mobile phone so it saves you carrying two devices. Granted it's a little large to hold to your ear but most people would use a Bluetooth earpiece to avoid that. And it's exceedingly good value compared to other 7" tablets and those can't act as phones either.

F**** hell, it's huuuge!!

Actually, it reminds me of when I made a bonfire with my brother once and we used to arrange the pieces of wood in the same order. I think it was in Japan that people always use this technique when they make a fire outside.

I remember it was really hot and burned out quite fast.

I tend to fill up every 3rd tank with the ultimate quality diesel and allow my tank to get low in order not to dilute this premium/expensive fuel, well I think that I went too far this time! It cost £83.11 to fill up  (54L) But wow did it pull out of the service station  Should do it's job of cleaning the engine

Ron thats expensive for a blow out.........I filled my car up with Shell V power several weeks ago, the tank was almost empty.. :( Jassy thought give this a try my son, as it states it will give my car extra 6/7 bhp it does seem to.its as if i had slipped the ST some form of Viagra mate :wtf: yes it was a bit more perky, especially at low revs and seemed slightly more torquey in top gear

Jassy I'm glad you said that. That's how my car feels now. I now only use Shell V Power and boy the difference in acceleration is really noticeable ;). It just feels like a totally different car - totally different feel to the way Pearl drove. The downside is - I'm getting much more brake dust on the front alloys and my mpg is suffering for the heavy right foot  I love it :)

I like using V power nitro +. I dont think it does much in a diesel, but i know it keeps it clean, and I cant detail inside the engine
