If you nick a car then surely you would tamper with the plates to try and avoid detection?
That's my stereotyping again.... if they run a Merc that they'd have enough money to run one and too much to loose to nick a tank of fuel.mrizzle said:It's a known con that drivers tamper with the plates for this fill up and drive scam. I've seen it a few times on motorway cop programmes Ron. Doesn't mean the car is stolen. One geezer who they caught doing it was doing it in his Dad's car which had been lent to him.

Crass looking car, vauxhalls cabrio's have always been of a acquired tasteand that included's the forgettable ford folding top as well
Thats surprising though as this car looks like a cabriolet on its own right, having no design relation to any of the existing range :eusa-think:
My fav cabriolet apart from "High end Marques" has got to be the E Class convertible....![]()
closely followed by the Audi A5 convertible.....

Also may i add "MY RCZ LEAVES ME THIS FRIDAY" my focus has slept in the driveway for almost 3 weeks l used common sense "strange coming from me" and used up the mileage on the rcz, it will leave me with just 18,000 miles on the clock and a credit to its leased owner  Ye never know someone new on here may end up with it I hope so  .
Will i miss the driving the rcz in a word NO.Will I miss looking at the rcz........ YES i will.......VERY MUCH SO...I gave it a full detail of which lasted 7 hours last sunday using Nattys wax for light coloured cars, didnt think much of that as its application and removal was not easy and also messy, then i used diamond white Haze.......Now your talking in a combo of both it left my opal white RCZ gleaming with the paint feeling the smoothest ever.
So all thats left for me to do on friday morning is give it a wash and maybe a wee coat of diamond white haze.........and also remove all my bulbs and replace them with the originals........not looking forward to that
Will i stay on this forum dont think so.....Would like to. ST forums are not me   they are full of YOUNG MK2 owners that bitch about The new MK2 car..........suppose its the same on any forum when a newer model arrives
This forum is very quiet just now........extremely, Apart from Mad Max83........... ....."Oddballs" liked that Max.......My Young...Protege .....
I'll second all that, stick around. The RCZ is a common thread here of course but the banter and personalities is what matters in life and you'll be missed.RCZ1 said:jassyo06 said:gadgetpuk said:Those wheels are just too familiar?

Jassy, are you going to post some pictures of your nicely detailed RCZ before she goes back on Friday? Would be nice to see her, one last time.
Why leave the forum Jassy? If you enjoy it, stick around. I'm sure there's lots of useful advice that you can give members, old and new....... Just remember to behave yourself.... !
The forum is extremely quiet at the moment..... All those owners who have taken delivery of their facelifted Zs are out enjoying the driving experience![]()
OO58RON said:So what was it that I saw today and didn't like then Jassy? It was a BMW Msport it had three letter but can't remember exactly what they were possibly CSL. It was a Maroon type colour with a Black boot and bonnet. Heat vents in the bonnet and a fixed fairly large spoiler on the boot.
