I love this too Jassy. There's a really smart grey one and a really sexy dark blue one kicking about. Both would be preferable to white in my opinion. I'd LOVE one of these so badly!!!

The thirties strike one week today my man... GULP!! Just as well I'm not a single man any more as I don't think telling girls in clubs you're in your thirties has the same appeal. Although...I still have boyish good looks, wit, charm and sophistication on my side... :lol:

Rizz i was in my 40's and still going to the "Alan Hansen".......... :lol: it never bothered me or the burdzzzzzz but glad thats all over for jassy :helpme: wish i could do it all over again :lol: :lol: seriously its a stunning looking car and i think the new ones are throwing out 575 bhp+ the new ones have led drls much like the new rcz as they are on the bumpers the tyres are mega bucks as they are tailormade for them huge 20 inch alloys even if you traded up your rcz they running costs of such a car mind boggling but we all can dream mate get yourself into a private school or make yer way very quickly up the ladder to assistant head teacher or even the Gaffer and these cars will be easily within your grasp :thumbup:

Jassy, how did you get on with Lawless? Just nipped out to my local Blockbuster to find that it's closing (in fact I think that the four of them in Aberdeen are). Everything to buy is 50% off so there are some real bargains to be had.

I refuse to pay to stream a film from iTunes and the like and Blu-Ray quality is the only way for me. Has anyone used lovefilm or similar? If so, have experiences been positive or negative?

Sad day indeed blockbuster closing l got lawless out mate but l fell asleep mate l can't keep my eyes open after 8 pm damn av been working every day almost since Jan 3rd as for the streaming issues you won't get 1080p or dts hd master or Dolby true hd sound.all you will get 720p and. Dolby 5.1 with a vastly lower bitrate

I have never rented a film, but I wonder what would happen if you took some out and they had closed down before you were due to return them?

The thought also crossed my mind. :eusa-think: I suspect that, as there will still be stores open nationally, you would be contacted to return them by mail. That's a complete guess though.

Very true.. I imagine the auditors would be rather more interested in seeing them returned than the employees. The way things are going the high streets will be empty soon enough...:thumbdown:

Too many stores, too many transactions, too little value, not worth the time spent. Much bigger issues to get to grips with, would be my thoughts.

I don't profess to know about these things so ask out of curiosity, would they not be interested in these as part of the valuation of Blockbuster's assets? Your thoughts make sense to me too. Far bigger fish to fry...

Technically YES realistically I very much doubt it. After all it's not their money. However time spent pursuing such assets would be at their expense and they would not see any rewards for such efforts. The only people that would see a benefit to such diligence would be the creditors.

Geez...sounds like you have been working VERY hard. I am relieved to hear that you have work but don't burn out ma man!! Are they keeping you on then? I really hope so and that you get your holiday this year!!

As for the streaming, it's a no go for me. May have to investigate lovefilm a bit and see what the craic is there. They are forever offering free trials and the likes so worth trying out I guess.

They would then send you some from that list, upon return they would send you some more from the list. I simply could not be bothered to work out what films that I may want to view in the future. It all seemed too much effort. I prefer to simply order them when I know what I want from Amazon. I am happy with the service that I receive from them. Downside is I have a ever growing mountain of Blu-ray discs.

:lol: :lol: It's astonishing how quickly the latter happens isn't it RON?! I do seem to recall thinking much the same about the lovefilm service. Not quite as handy as nipping up to the local rental store!! I also tend to pick my films by my mood and I can't see their service being particularly helpful with that in mind. I bet we see a significant increase in online movie piracy/downloading now!!

Personally. I will not, never have and never will buy or use a pirated movie. I believe that if we want a strong and healthy movie industry, then we should support it and buy the products to allow for future investment in the industry. How else will film makers attract investors if they can't demonstrate a viable proposition ?
They need our money in order to make the films that we want to watch :eusa-think:
