Now I'm generally not one for melodrama and a moan (except when I look like a hamster for important family weddings...I'm still slightly traumatised by that) but...I should currently be at the SECC watching two of my favourite bands play live, The Maccabees and The Black Keys. However,I'm sat at home being made to watch some "celebrities" prancing around a dance floor in glittery outfits courtesy of a number of work commitments that have forced me to seek an extension to an essay for part of my Masters qualification that I (stupidly) elected to try and fit into my life. Not being there has put a serious dampener on my advent and seen me wax 60 bucks for nothing. Bah hambug!!!

Thanks Mel!! Although I'm undecided if that helps or makes things worse.. I appreciate your efforts though! :clap: Thankfully, I've been fortunate enough to see the Maccabees live four times since the release of Colour it In. Have you seen their latest material played live? It's epic live and Orlando Weeks' (what a fantastic name for a frontman) voice sounds increasingly fragile and vulnerable. Such a great great band!! However, I have never been able to see The Black Keys live! :thumbdown:

got alot of time for scottish bands ..started with billy mckenzie ;the associates ; big country ..the waterboys..strawberry switchblade ..llyod cole and the commotions ..aztec camera ..right through to travis ..franz ferdinand..the frattellis..i also consider snow patrol in that also !! the maccabeese are on my to see list all great music and have been lucky to see some of the bands and grow up with them

have you seen IT ON BLURAY at home yet ALFRED.... :lol: Ya gotta get one them ALFY BOY... :lol: the high def IMAX scenes Are truly 3d like and Mr Wayne's Dark Grey Aventador looks truly awesome.

Well having wasted 3 hours of my life watching the hobbit I'd take that gun to Peter Jackson. My misses loved it but it just bored me to tears :crazy: :wtf:

Peter Jackson has had his day with the LOTR Trilogy the hobbit doesnt look any different he should have learned by George Lucas mistakes with episodes 1,2,3.
