Okay. (No capita;ls or shouting here guys).

Nice to clear it up Jassy and I offer a hand of friendship. Trouble with script is that it can so easily be taken out of context. I will keep the whisky but not for myself..just for visitors...I prefer JW Blue Label myself but only when someone buys it for me.

I do want to sell. I enjoy selling.

So...0058RON ...I think you might satisfy your better half when you tell her that there wheels and tyres are only £900 cash for the lot after you view on collection. (SK15 2SF). I probably have other RCZ stuff you might be looking for.

It'd so nice to be pals with you guys. Honest.

Well I applaud everyone's attempts at diplomacy!! It is much nicer when everyone gets along with one another. Sure, a wee bit of "niggle" is good craic but it needs to be light hearted and with a spot of humour.

The price of the alloys etc seems to be very fair and, should the require it, repairs to these alloys are relatively cheap. Good luck with the sale.

Oh and I'm a Balvenie Signature or Doublewood man....just in case anyone wondered...Christmas and my 30th aren't too far away... ;)

I played golf with a very old Scotsman a while ago and he mentioned he was a retired Malter. I told him I took my whisky with dry ginger and he did NOT say what you are all thinking. He simply said "Laddie, If thats how you like it then thats how you should drink it"

He's right but that is sacrilege to so that to a decent malt. A blend yes but a malt...

Re: OVER 100 RCZ USED PARTS AVAILABLE.

I repeat that I enjoy selling stuff. Maybe I haven't been too clear in that I have for sale RCZ mint condition parts. Maybe I should have said that I have available OVER A HUNDRED parts all at around 65% cheaper than norm. I mention this as I see on another thread that a member has crushed the offside of his (or at least someone else did it) and has taken it in for repair. The paintwork alone will be more than the panels in the right colour which I have available.

More than curious about this or does it just confirm that RCZ owners have money to burn?

That would confirm my thoughts of £2k. However I can get brand new wheels for £1k and a similar amount for the winter tyres. So your wheels at £900 won't make much of a saving when you take travel costs to collect them and then buy and have the winter tyres fitted.

I suppose over £1k saving isn't worth the extras you have taken into consideration.

The prospective customer is always right.

However, the list price, I believe, is nearer £2.5k but it is imperative that you 'spends your money and takes your chance'. Thanks for the reply and good luck with her indoors.

What £1K savings do you refer? As I say brand new wheels from Car Accessories Plus cost £259 each so that's roughly £1K then Buying winter tyres A similar price circa £250 each. Therefore an outlay of approx £2K or alternatively buy from you at £900 pay for travel expenses and then buy winter tyres for circa £250 each. I do not see why I would buy second hand for the same price as brand new. Give or take a few quid

nearly a grand for a used set of alloys? You'll be lucky. Alloys are worthless as soon as they are run on a car. Easy drop to a fifth of their original value.

If you wanna seriously make cash of the breaking up of this RCZ. Chuck the bits on ebay, throw the links on here and then people can buy if they so desire. You will reach a far larger audience on ebay.

This is much more fun than ebay,

You should take advice from Xzibit206 as you intend to pay £1036 for four alloys and put them on your car so they become worthless and you have lost £1036. If you had bought mine you would only lose £900.00. Of course you will also pay for and fit winter tyres and hope it snows in York. Have you forgoptten that you will also have the expense of a divorce but, then again, that might be your motive.

All in all we will all be winners. I still have my wheels and have had my sale stuff highlighted by you guys, you get a divorce and Xzibit leaves the site to increase the massive ebay audience. SIMPLES.

I don't think you got the point I was aiming at ee1264vv.............

Yes XZ. I did get the point and it is a good one. I thank you for it as I thank 005 for the developing banter.
However, it became apparent some posts ago that he won't buy any wheels or tyres, new or othwerwise, from anyone so I simply entered a little humour into the thread. His little caption "I do not want, what I haven't Got" speaks volumes and I could play with words all day in answer to that one. I wonder exactly what it applies to and would suggest 'humour' or perhaps 'ambition' might fit.

Oh, how wrong you are ee1264vv. I think that if you like selling as you proclaim, that you need to hone your skills

Its a long time since October but I have been lucky and sold a lot of 'bits'. I learned in my long gone youth that all advice should be digested and the good stuff should be acted on. Thank's to that attitude I have noted all advice on this thread and thank you for the positives which have proven most beneficial.

Now, having got the 'bug' (not the beetle type) I have acquired a very nice RCZ which is available for sale and I will be posting it on an EBay auction in January.

Surprisingly the minimum frontal accident damage has earned it an undeserved CAT D. It is now with a Peugeot Specialist and will be completely refurbished, certified A1 and ready for January. First Registered 2011 with just over 5k on the clock. (YES....FIVE THOUSAND MILES) FULL WARRANTY and of course only one owner. It benefits from an unusual and very sought after WHITE leather interior. Any decent offer will be accepted in advance of putting it on EBay but you can't have it 'til January . Private communication please, If one doesn't mind the Cat D then there is a guaranteed saving of several thousand pounds on this very desireable 'head turner'.

Private plate 333EJ also open to offers
