Hi guys nursing a slight hangover.... Ah the focus ST3,I test drove one last year a blue one my son had and was smitten but i was sidetracked by Audi's and money grabbing leasing company's the A5 fell through due to higher interest rates than i was quoted  The AUDI Sportsback has 6 months+ lead time.........if you add option's and you do with audi's and Audi's books are Full for this year and well into next year for this car

The ST3 has it all, well this one has its a stock model and add that to my sons discount its a offer i couldnt refuse and its great value for money car not comparing it to the rcz, the rcz is far prettier hands down  I came from a hothatch to the rcz and doing so never really gelled with the rcz and i couldnt afford to lease the 200gt at the time "would leasing the 200 gt have made any difference doubt it"

I aint getting the ST3 because of its power even if it had 200bhp i still would have one its a cracking car inside in ST3 guise with a full recaro front and rear leather interior this one has satnav, drivers assistance pack that includes stuff that i cant even remember :eusa-think: style pack, everything on the options list barring a Sunroof,My fav bit is the led lit door sills and ambient lighting,Red or blue you choose.

Max feel free to comment mate honestly mate i see a golf MK6 gti in your garage nice classy car.

By the way the car in the photos had a faulty side light........... I will need to change them to led 501's to match the existing lights

The real price of this car is £28,200 with it all added together far cheaper than a fully loaded rcz 200gt which is say £32,000 and i will own it after 36 months.Crap photo's it was pouring down and i have smashed the screen on my HTC phone  so i will get better photos when i get my car

By the way that's young jassy junior with the ST3 and his rather tasteless haircut

If we cant comment or compare to other makes of car then there's no point in commenting on anything regarding the RCZ.

How can we compare or make a comparison without fetching other makes into the equation.
I just don't get your point sorry. :eusa-think:

You drive a 2 door 156hp 1.6 turbo coupe. A little GT that was intended to look good whilst it is fun enough to drive on the weekend whilst returning decent economy. How on gods green planet can you compare that to a 250hp hot hatch.

Correct, good observation :? However if you read the thread with the same sharp observation, you will note that I did not compare the Focus to the RCZ in any way.

My point was and still is that why should we have to go to another forum to make a comment on other makes of car.
If we all went away to make a comparison on like for like cars there wouldn't be anyone left in here.
In fact, after reading the thread again I cannot see anyone comparing this particular model of Focus to the RCZ in anyway at all.
You actually suggested we go to the "Ford Owners Forum", therefor implying that is were we should go to comment on all Fords including this model of Focus. It was that comment that spurred me to ask my question. ;)

I had an XR3 and XR3i, then moved onto an Orion Ghia 1600i.

Early youthful days and wrote all 3 off

…I have to say it is great fun but it's still not, in my personal and humble opinion, the most fun I've ever had in a car.

To be honest, the most fun I've ever had in a car had absolutely nothing to do with the car...

This is the only fast Ford that I ever owned (however this is not the actual one) but I couldn't afford to run it as well as own a camera

Go read some of your older posts. Whenever Jassy took a crack at RCZ's you are the only one to give the post a thumbs up. You clearly dont like the car. Maybe chat to Jassy, he should be able to help you out of your RCZ. You know that when you are being negative and condescending about something where everyone shares a passion just for the sake of getting a response, its called trolling...

It was. The best car that I could afford at the time. I had no idea what Ford and Lotus had in common. That car was capable of over a hundred miles per hour.......... way back in the Seventies

Again Max another good observation,
Your learning.
Yes, I'm not the biggest fan of the RCZ and I have made my reasons why very very clear.
Love the look of it, not a big fan of its quality, simple.
If someone writes something good or bad that I agree with then he/she gets the thumbs up.
I don't need help from anyone for me to be able to speak my mind. Never have done. And when the time is right, whether that be financially or for other reasons I will be moving the Z on, without the help of anyone.
As for this latest outburst, it is you that decided to open up the issue of members speaking about other makes on this forum. Not me.
Now that trolling comment seems to be a bit like, kettle/black don't you think. ;)

Is it a Lotus Cortina? Only reason I know that is that there was a guy who I used to deliver papers to (about 17 years back  ) who would be out cleaning one every Sunday morning without fail. It was in mint condition and I always thought it was pretty cool. It was slightly off white with some touches of racing green down the side and around the bottom of the boot. Very cool...I'd happily have one today!
