The only thing that put me off those pipes were the youtube video. It sounded horrible and popped and farted on lift off.

They hae some more moies up, Figo and they sound better than they did than the one your referring too. Coulda be an early production run without remapping the ignition.

Feline exhaust Quads

After reading about the Feline kit in the Peugeot magazine I decided I needed the quad exhaust like...now!!!called into my dealership today but they knew nothing about them!suprising as theyre advertised in mag and on official website.Rang Peugeot cust services and was put through to Richard, the accessories manager, who I have to say was extremely helpful and enthusiastic about the Feline products. The outcome of which is the exhaust is not available to order until the middle of next week, went back to my dealer who will now get me one asap,so hope to have it fitted in next couple of weeks.Apparantly the mesh grille looks fantastic but need to see a pic of this tho, anyone seen any?

Moved to keep discussion in one place - please read all the previous thread to get up to speed with the Feline pack.

Thanks Rob.

These pipes ( see picture ) are 840 pounds. Better sound and better performance. I am promised a humble noise at low revs and a slightly louder " noise" at higher RPM. At motorway speeds the sound will be barely noticeable so the comfort remains intact. I think they look slightly " cooler " the the ones in the Feline pack.

How many additional HP's? Not a clue.....

The only thing that put me off those pipes were the youtube video. It sounded horrible and popped and farted on lift off. Now that was "cool" in my strippe out Civic track car... But on a £25,000 coupe it's sound has missed the mark

Do you happen to have a link to that vid?

Thanks.

I know the grilles are available in stainless steel or gloss black. I'm probably changing my grille as the standard plastic one on my RCZ has already broken. Unbelievably flimsy and £450 (fully fitted) to change.

The steel mesh grilles are £350 fitted. Peugeot seem to have got their prices wrong on the plastic grilles.

I don't like the steel grille as much as the original plastic grille, but as I am having to replace mine after only 1000 miles I can't see the original grilles lasting very long.

The exhausts on the videos are Ruffer quads...they are not the ones being sold by peugeot in the feline pack. The feline pack exhausts are standard sounding..the ruffers are specialist and you can only get from Germany

If the forum software is USA based it may not recognise it. Its a word that's more commonly used in the UK but perhaps not so much elsewhere especially the USA.

Is there a place for moderators to add banned words?

I promise to behave. That might help a bit.

Let's resume the topic now ;-)

Right some progress- dealers recieved initial details of the feline pack today.

Supplies of parts for the kits are currently being finalised and will be shipped to dealers in the coming weeks. HOWEVER....there is an initial supply of a limited number of kits being prioritised into the parts divison for sold orders from the interest generated by the Rapport Magazine.

This initial batch is about 2 weeks away. Your dealer can order by faxing the order form attached to the info letter to Peugeot with customer details and chassis nos etc.

Part numbers are as follows:

VAS305B - MESH GRILL BLACK

VAS305S - MESH GRILL POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL

VAS306 - SIDE STRIPES BLACK

VAS307 - SIDE STRIPES SILVER

VAS308 - QUAD OUTLET CONVERSION 156BHP PETROL

VAS309 - QUAD OUTLET CONVERSION FOR 200BHP PETROL

VAS310 - QUAD EXHAUST CONVERSION FOR 163BHP DIESEL

Fitted priced are :

Grills £349.99
Side stripes £84.99
Quad Exhaust £649.99

I havent got details on fitting times yet as the fitting instructions come in the boxes for the bits.

There is a note in the letter that says "whilst the quad outlet conversion integrates both sets of tail pipes into the exhaust system it does not change any of the performance characteristics of the car and there is no noticeable change to the exhaust sound or note"

Regards

Marcus

Hi All,

Well, we finally got the details out ! Sorry it's been a long wait - I guess i should have held onto the 'breaking news scoop' a bit longer rather than spilling the beans so early on this one

Thanks for all your help on this project Peugeot Accessories - much appreciated Richard.

Looking forward to seeing some pics in the coming weeks of some kits on cars.

Regards
