sounds fantastic but i will be on holiday over in tunisia and have to leave my rcz in the driveway picking it up on 1st of sep only have it on the road less than 2 weeks hope you lucky ones make it have a great time cheers

Hi All,

Thanks for the positive response to this. Based on this, I will definately progress with sorting this out.

I have a meeting with our Events Dept. early next week to finalise the details but it should hopefully be a good day out and I'll try and put in place a few extra bits and pieces for members of this forum. Once I can confirm details I'll update this post again.

First thing that I need to do however is start gathering information so that we can send out tickets to those of you that would like to attend.

Can you please PM me the following information:-

- Name
- Address (inc postcode)
- Number of tickets required (max 4 per person)
- Age of children (if any are being brought with you)
- Your RCZ Vehicle Identification Number (last 8 digits) - This can be found on your windscreen (bottom corner on passenger side).
or if car not yet delivered
- Your RCZ Order Number - you may need to ask your dealer for this. We refer to it as the DIALOG order number and it is 6 digits long.

Please send me this no later than 20th August.

Sounds like it will be a good day. Would love to be there.

Unfortunately, unless the Peugeot Delivery Fairy performs a miracle between now and then, I won't have my RCZ.
Somehow, turning up in my other half's 107 doesn't quite have the same thrill for me..

Hope it all goes well though!

I'm still going to go (subject to getting tickets) - even if mine hasn't arrived by then. I'll either be in a loan 107 or a mate's Hyundai Coupe. I know I'll feel a bit left out, but will still be good to meet other like minded individuals with impeccable taste . :wave:

Hi All,

Sorry, been a bit late in posting this.

In response to the questions. Yes the 12th Is still on. I have a bit more information for you all now also:-

Peugeot are taking part in the Le Mans Series Race at Silverstone on 12th September 2010. We have two Peugeot 908s competing, driven by British Driver Anthony Davidson and French Driver Nicolas Minassian. This is the final round of the Le Mans Intercontinental Cup (LMIC). Link to event info here: http://www.silverstone.co.uk/events/Le-Mans-Series/

Tickets will entitle you to access into the Luffield B stand which will provide a good view of the track / race.

The race itself starts at 11:55am, however, prior to this (at approximately 10:30am) we have secured a slot on the track for a parade of RCZs doing laps which should be great to see.

In addition to this, I am finalising arrangements for a dedicated test drive session for forum members (i.e. cars exclusively made available to us for a period of time) - This will include some RCZs (inc 200 bhp version). Peugeot will also have a display stand at the track with other products on display. Again, once i have further details, I'll let you know.

Those that have already sent me a PM, thanks and I have your details logged so that tickets can be despatched. For others that would like to attend, please send me a PM by the end of this week.

When I send out the tickets, I will also enclose a more detailed timing plan.

Looks a great day, are we going to be taking part in the parade with our cars, I've done this before when we did the world record attempt last year with the MR2 - great feeling. :dance: ;)

I'm into week 3 of RCZ ownrship. I'd love to attend a meet-up at Silverstone. Can't get a PM to you though; not sure why.

All users should have PM features. Just click on "0 new messages" above and you should have all the options there. Alternatively, click the user name of the person you wish to message and it should give you the option there to message them.

Hi Tony.

I seem to remember it took 24 hours for the PM to start working when I joined, Sandra only joined yesterday so that could be a problem.
