Thanks. What is the normal amount of oil consumption. My car consumes 1l per 3000 is that normal?Total Quartz Ineo Ecs 5W30
PedroThe Prince Engines can consume anything between 1ltr to 5000 klm & obviously it will go lower for higher mileage one odd thing about direct injection Engines is one may use more oil than another I assume they mean how the car is driven?

Dumb question from someone who knows nothing about engines
Dip stick shows half way between max and min so how much oil should I top up and what grade , 2015 THP 156.
Use Quartz Ineo 5 w 30 low saps 3 & top the oil up to the top Mark on the stick looks like a small brass bauble the engine holds 4.25 litres when full if its half way try putting a litre in then check & top up to the marker do not overfill if possible always keep the oil on or around the max otherwise you could kill off the timing Chain & tensioner plus causing other issues as you can starve theses engines of oil very quicklyPedro

Thanks NemiShould be around 0.5L - 1L. Add 500ml, then wait a bit and check again. If needed, add more and check again.
Can't go wrong with Total Quartz Ineo Ecs 5W30.
Can't help! Pre cat regulates air/fuel so yeh. I have used Lambda's from NGK, Bosch and recently two for a TF from a 'well reviewed' on eBay that have worked a treat. At the moment, my lambda sensor in front of the catalytic converter is not working and the other sensor is not ok either. Could this be to blame for higher fuel consumption. Can I replace the lambda sensor with a non-original one. Which sensor manufacturer would be of good quality
Peugeot are now recommending Total ineo first 0w-30 for the THP engine snd personally I won’t use anything elseI've seen here that the recommended oil is Total 5W30, but my mechanic is putting Total 5W40 in most PRINCE engine cars. Is this okay - longterm wise?
I've called around two or three garages and they all said 5W40 for the RCZ engine due to better long-term timing chain performance.
What do you guys recommend? Any bad experience with 5W40?
Wouldnt that be too low for me since summer temps here in Slovenia often reach above 35 degrees in July/August.Peugeot are now recommending Total ineo first 0w-30 for the THP engine snd personally I won’t use anything else
