It is tough and frustrating I know!

1 and 2 are correct. Try and pop open 1 then move onto 2. I used very small screwdrivers, ones you would get in crackers. Try either side as well and see if it works for you. You do need to be brave with the pressure, but there will obviously be a breaking point - I very nearly gave up but then it just flew open!

Are you getting any part of it to 'pop'?

Yes getting area 1 to pop with not too much force but at point 2 really put a lot of force and nothing, just got scared and stopped.

Just close your eyes and do it. It takes more force than what you would imagine. I tried the first time and failed.... then I had a strong cup of coffee and after that in a fit of caffeine rage, i managed to pop it off.

Well bit the bullet this morning, applied way more pressure than first time and the cover came off quiet easily ( Scary though).

I didn't need tape/cloth to remove bulbs just managed to get a grip with pair of pliers and out they came.

Very pleased with the results, all 10 internal and the 2 number plate bulbs now changed.

Thanks for help and advice guys

I'm a little confused here. Renegade79 appears to have quoted dand87 post, but the link is different. They both take me to the same E-Bay seller but the product if different price and description. Go onto the sellers site and I can't find the 10 pack as mentioned in the post. Can someone please clarify which bulbs are needed.

The link on my post - I edited my post as I got the wrong product (a similar one albeit) initially!! I don't know how, seems as I had just bought them! When renegade quoted me I realised so went back and changed the link on my original post. Apologies for the confusion.

For clarity, here is the 10 pack for the entire interior....

Can you take some photo about OEM blubs? and make it down which is dome / footwell/ glove / trunk?
If you can do that I will be very thankful.

Got mine from RCZ-performance y-day :)
decided to replace them all (exept door light as those already are replaced with the once that has the RCZ logo)
It was way easier than I thought!
Dome/map lights plastic cover was actually very easy. I just followed the picture posted above and it popped right off :)
Footwell I was able to remove with bare hands. Glovebox light was removed with a short screwdriver.
Boot lights (the one far back to rear window was also removed with the help of a small screwdriver and the one on the side I just pulled off the side panel and replaced the bulb with the holder still in place.

Around 20min job

I had to change side on 2 of the bulbs before they did work but I didn't put back any of the holders in place before I saw that all was working.

On a side note, Whats up with that damn economy mode?? :wtf: Kicks in within minutes :x

It a feature that will close the power down to any of the cars electricals so that there is enough power to start the engine.
Yes it is too short but the car doesn't know how long it will be before the engine will be started again.
So it tries to obtain as much electrical storage as possible.

No it can't be switched off.
