You think thats bad....ordered mine 17th May...still no confirmed delivery date or anything near. This is despite me going into the dealership in person to ask about dates.

Right that's it...I've had enough of this....they're just about to get the third degree

OK Update.

Build date is 15th September. Evidently delay is due to the fact that I was one of the ones who originally ordered smoked roof arches - so they pushed build back....

Can't say I'm very happy about this but what can you do. It's not the dealers fault, and what influence are they going to have on Peugeot itself?

Ther dealer has just called to say that the car is built but its still at the factory. I'm so happy that it has at least been built. No delivery date as yet, but I'm hoping about 3 weeks from now. Fingers crossed.

I ordered the GT HDi in Nera Black no extras.

hhobbit did you order your car from Edgware? I was just talking to my dealer who told me the same story about the smoked roof arches.

No - I'm in Essex (Southend) - and I'm not going to name the dealer :?

You can't blame the dealer - but just to be kept informed would be nice.

Personally I think Peugeot themselves should take a look at original order dates. It doesn't seem right that people who ordered in June/July are having there cars delivered but people who ordered in May are still waiting :x

Ahh the wait goes on. All good things come to those that wait....supposedly.

My local dealership has been quoting 8 working days from confirmed build to delivery to themselves, if that helps anyone. This is based on the deliveries that they'd had and what they see via the order tracking system.

That's a lot shorter time than some others being quoted on the forum. Hope you're right! You're not in Dover though are you?

Just had a call from my Dealer... Apparently my RCZ is now being amalgamated??? I think this means checked over after transporting, but i am not sure which side of the channel this is.. (P Prod, RCZGT200, can you add to this) Either way, its getting closer. Ordered April it's about time it was getting closer !!!

Sorry jprcz ....thats a new one on me...... :?:

Cars are checked for damage at most stages on the transport process. The main check it will get is the Pre delivery inspection which is done at the dealership, it will have its systems set up and be road tested etc

I hope 8 working days is right too - I'm starting to get a teeny bit excited at the prospect of getting my car, not sure I could stand another couple of weeks with only the brochure to look at and stroke.

I have given up hope. First seen the rcz when my wife ordered her 207cc.I then ordered mine in April at the preview evening. I was originally told that I would get the car in July. Due to me ordering the smoked chrome arches I have now be given a build date of 12th September with delivery being early October. This is driving me mad

oh my god! and there is me worrying that i havent got a build date yet after 3weeks! i have been told that i should have it in around the 12 week mark. does anyone know if peugeot let you take the rcz out for quick drive even though you have already bought the car??
how long does it take to get a build date?

Hi Haddow2004, I ordered my RCZ on 22nd June was given a build date on 23 July. That build date was 2nd Sept this has no moved back to 12th Sept. As you ordered 3 weeks ago give your dealer a call and ask if you have one yet, no harm in asking after all is there.

Hope you enjoy RCZ when you get it as I'm sure I will.

Cheers Grant

Hi mine is also going to be built on the 20th sept (156 gt dolphin blue /blue leather and sports pack /vision pack.) and will be with my dealer about 13th October. it will be built on that day and will take about 2 weeks to come over the channel and then from Sherness depot when they are checked and processed to dealer is about 1 week after or sooner depends on where you are.

excellent! im waiting for a 156 gt in mercury grey with black leather interior, from aldershot in hampshire. sometimes the cars are built and on there way ahead of schedule but you have to call the dealer for updates.
where abouts are you getting yours from?
