THANK YOU!!!!!!

Great thread, and made me go ahead and buy one. Took a little twisting and turning to get it in, but in 15 mins the job was a good 'un.

Not driven yet, I'll be really interested to see if I spot any difference

Would be keen to get some feedback from anyone with a 200. Have you noticed any difference? I can't say that I have noticed any real difference in mine....was not as noticeable as the change it made to the wife's 207cc Turbo

Right...got the filter today and am trying desperately hard to fit it. However, I can't find a short enough handled screwdriver to get the blooming screws out! Any suggestions?

You need torx adapter and a spanner to get into the tight space.

Thanks RCZ1!! I'll have a look for one at B&Q tomorrow. I bought an adjustable angled and changeable headed screwdriver today but it's still that bit too big even at a 90 degree angle. Most frustrating!!

Right...I changed it today following all the instructions and diagrams. However, now sitting in the driveway and if I press down on the break pedal I hear a 'whoosh whoosh' sound...uh oh!! Have I done something horrible? I moved the break fluid bit aside as suggested but it certainly didnt make this sound before!! Slightly fearful that I've done something terrible!!!

Right quick trip round the block and a check of my wife's car (which also does the same while stationary) suggests that everything is all good...

   Yes Jassy I did get the ligths sorted. The LEDs were a bit of a pain in the tush to manipulate into place and for some reason one of the mechanisms on the dipped headlight was refusing to play cricket (my St Andrews education showing in that euphemism) but a spot of colouring the air blue, a 10 minute time out and it was all good. I think it looks money now that I have shed that distinctly unpleasant yellow light tinge. Using the LEDs as daylight running lights because they're so sexy!! :D Thanks for all your help!!

As for the K&N, i'm noticing a considerably more responsive engine...aces!!

Just fitted mine - In fairness it IS a bit tricky after removing the 3 screws to get top off and back on again after inserting the filter. I did notice an improvement in the responsiveness though so happy days!
