I'm sorry but when I spoke to the Peugeot Dealer in Crewe this morning they made it abundantly clear that they weren't interested in the slightest in helping me, that their priority was to their own customers and that they wouldn't do anything else with the vehicle without assurances that they were going to get paid. If they had been interested in helping me they might, for example, have rung around other Peugeot Dealers in the North West who might have been able to take a look a bit quicker which I thought would have been a perfectly reasonable option considering FoW were prepared to transport the car. This was the final straw for me.
It's probably difficult for you to see it from their side but they do have a point. You bought the car from a non Peugeot garage and instantly developed faults. The garage you bought from obviously didn't want or know how to rectify the problem so they try off loading it on another garage, who are probably very busy themselves at the moment and I think rightly so, should be receiving some kind of payment from the other garage for trying to sort it out. The original garage you bought it from have some obligation to resolve the problem. After all they are the ones who sold you the car probably knowing how it was.
RCZ1 it don't make any difference where you buy your car from if its under manufacturers warranty you can expect the same service as you would if bought from them, they would claim any money owed for work done on the car from Peugeot. I bought my car from a Vauxhall dealer with 3 months warranty after 4 days I got the same faults as hux I phone my local Peugeot dealer and he recommended me taking it to them I had 2 weeks left on Peugeot warranty. ps if you bought private where would you take it.
