mrizzle said:I went to see American Hustle last Saturday. It is a film made by the performances of the cast (which are spectacular) rather than the plot. All the main characters are fantastic, the soundtrack is awesome but, in all honesty, the plot is a little unnecessarily dragged out. I'm still musing a score out of ten because I loved it but for the performances and the characters rather than the plot. :eusa-think:

I'm lining up 'Riddick' for tonight. I wanted to see it in the cinema because I have loved the Riddick films to date. However, Jen refused. Looking forward to it even more on the back of your recommendation Jassy!!
I agree that it was drawn out, other than that I hated it. Too slow, too predicatable, too dull. I am astonished it has received the acclaim it has. :thumbdown:mrizzle said:I went to see American Hustle last Saturday. Oh absolutely with you on that, best picture is a joke though. Just impossible to fathom.mrizzle said:I'm surprised you didn't enjoy the performances though!! I completely agree regarding the nomination for "Best picture" but I wholeheartedly agree with all the actor nominations.
