I wanna see Man of Steel and Elysium but I will die feeling in no way unfulfilled if I never see Smurfs 2 (or its predecessor for that matter).

Well i watched "2 Guns" last night and it was very Manly AKA Macho viewing and in this genre i will give it 7/10 wahlberg&Denzil are minted top dog.....so if if you want a "Buddy shoot em UP....movie to watch :eusa-think: its recommended by Jassy

but stay very very very clear of "Only god forgives" I EJECTED IT after only 10 minures of viewing...NO its not me masturbating....... its the disc from the bluray player...... i wont go into detail but its AWFUL 1/10

Blockbuster going capeesh has sadly sidelined me to LoveFilm :( :( ........because they are the only company to rent bluray disc's,their streaming and choice of streaming movies is ARCHIAC PLEASE AVOID but until i can find another company the rent's BLURAYS i am stuck with them :(

So i am going up to watch Auf wiedersehen pet episodes 1-3 that i just rented.........Avril take the hint ;)

I went to see American Hustle last Saturday. It is a film made by the performances of the cast (which are spectacular) rather than the plot. All the main characters are fantastic, the soundtrack is awesome but, in all honesty, the plot is a little unnecessarily dragged out. I'm still musing a score out of ten because I loved it but for the performances and the characters rather than the plot. :eusa-think:

Just watched the 3rd outing of the "Pitch Black Trilogy"..."Riddick"...And it was great...He's a kinda adopted the "snake pliskin" style now  This movie was mostly funded by Vin diesel...just to give the movie makers= director and diesel totall autonomy over the direction/adult content of the film, hence its a 18 certificate and a bit more RAW and far better for it....no big names in it....just like in
"PITCH BLACK"

So i will give this film a 8.5/10

My new TV Comes this week  ,as i was waiting for this tv to be back in stock...really i have been waiting yonks for it,nearly as bad as waiting for new car... probably better

It was going to be the Samsung 65f8000,great picture but i thought it looked cheap...ie the chassis frame/besel was poor for a £2,799 in the Currys sale, was £3,300.. :wtf: so i have decide on the Sony 65 kdl850w £2,699 all the rest of my stuff is Sony, STDRN 1040 AMP/BDP 790 BLURAY ..so one remote controls all, there's nothing worse than lying in my bedroom in the dark with 3 remotes on my lap...." WISH IT WAS 3 burdz"....4K doesnt interest me at the moment "Chicken & Egg" story...been there along time ago with 16 x 9 widescreen tv's l got one phillips IDTV 36" cost me £3,500 :wtf: "that was 24 years ago" but no widescreen programing/video available  .

Home Cinema has always been my first passion, cars are secondary  so are women  its been a war of the roses convincing "Er In doors".... ;)

Bob aint you on AVFORUMS....with a similar avatar :eusa-think:

I fancy a 4k tele!! They are to HD what HD is to regular definition. Going to google the tele you chose just shortly. Sounds epic!!

I'm lining up 'Riddick' for tonight. I wanted to see it in the cinema because I have loved the Riddick films to date. However, Jen refused. Looking forward to it even more on the back of your recommendation Jassy!!

Sadly only Sony.co.uk sell this tv mate....so i have purchased it from them its on the official Sony site, saw a small 55" version today in Currys it looks great with a brushed black aluminium besel...that has a tint of dark opal green when the light hits it....TV's are even more difficult to chose than cars....seeing one a showroom is always different when you get set up in the house...and the larger the tv screen the more the panels are susceptible to flaws...i will post a few photos when i get it...

There's no 4k transmission/software mate at the moment and its a bit of a gamble if there ever will be...they are Megabucks for a 65" set, from £5,000 onwards....4k spells "jassy back at mum & dads... or i would
l hear Sony are introducing a 49" 4k tv this year under £2,000........

YOU will enjoy Riddick mate, great popcorn guys Moovie

I agree that it was drawn out, other than that I hated it. Too slow, too predicatable, too dull. I am astonished it has received the acclaim it has.

That said I loved the Lone Ranger, thought Johnny Depp was great as ever, and it's been panned, and up for a shedload of raspberries.

I'm surprised you didn't enjoy the performances though!! I completely agree regarding the nomination for "Best picture" but I wholeheartedly agree with all the actor nominations.

As much as I like Johnny Depp, I don't want to see Lone Ranger terribly. The next film I'm chomping at the bit to see is 'The Wolf of Wall Street'!

Oh absolutely with you on that, best picture is a joke though. Just impossible to fathom.

Best film of the year for me, due to the heaps of literal LOL moments - I Give It a Year. Thought it would be a right chick flick, but tremendously funny.

A must! Great movie, over two hours but not for a single second boring. Outstanding performance by Leo but also by other supporting characters.
