For me at least the sound surround element of it is only 5.1 which for me at least gives an amazing element to film viewing. Its speakers come in rather handy when listening to audio cd's too. The built in hard drive has stored my entire music collection and will continue to do so for many more years to come. They are not cheap but one compact unit better suits my style rather than separate elements as some prefer. I do of course realise that being American it does not cater for digital radio, but I can cope with that. I use it every time that I use the TV as the TV's built in speakers are set to mute. When this does give up the ghost then I think I will opt for a 7.1 system as a lot of my current film collection has that option.

The other day watching Battleship one of the kids put the subtitles on - I found that a big help!

Bose Corporation was founded in 1964 by Dr. Amar G. Bose, then professor of electrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, hence my thinking that they are American?

I, however, am trying to regain basic motor function after a ridiculously drunken night out. 69p spirits and mixers have proved themselves to be my undoing. Evidently that was a gift from the devil...damn him and his unholy ways. Interestingly, judging by the bruises and shattered state of my body, I may have also unknowingly participated in a cage fight. The state of my body would suggest that I lost. It's a bad sign when it's almost 5pm and I feel like the hangover is worsening. "Oh ma heed...!!!"
