Hi, I am losing coolant, topping up expansion tank every couple of days. Took it to garage today, they eventually said the thermostat housing was leaking. They said that to get to it meant taking off a lot of kit to get to it, quoted me 4 to 5 hours work, they said the part was approx £160...

So the turbo has cut out three times over the last couple of weeks, but only today on way home did I get the engine management light on! A few hours after the third time of no boost.

Not limp mode, just no boost. My garage used a decent diagnostic piece of kit (Snap- On) from what I could see, definitely not a cheap imitation. P2191 stated Richness Adjustment : Mixture Too Lean. Pedro - haven't checked the Turbo boost control solenoid valve, so will ring the second garage...

Next installment. It's been ok for 4 days, been careful to warm up engine before taking it over 2000rpm. But today, did the same and the turbo cut out whilst driving sedately and engine up to temperature. Difference today is, ambient temp 8 degrees and heavy/standing rain. ☹

The fuel pump was changed earlier this year by previous owner. I didn't note the code this time round, previous code was P2191, both showed mixture too lean.

I had a previous RCZ and it never had this problem. There’s obviously a fault/ intermittent fault somewhere, a sensor or some component is playing up. It could be a dozen or more things I guess. Cars used to be so simple......

Ok, next instalment. Took it to an independent Peugeot specialist garage, they hooked it up to their diagnostics, a different code to P2191, but similar ‘ lean mixture’. They took it for two test drives and couldn’t get there the turbo to cut out. So, very frustrating, as I’m no further forward...

It’s a petrol, haven’t checked anything yet. Probably take it to my garage tomorrow morning, hook it up to check error codes, but weirdly nothing has shown on the dash.

Only owned my RCZ two days, bought privately, did all my research, it drove perfectly, tested it four times. Took it for a long run today, first hour was fine, then on way home, feels like no turbo, no boost, but no warning lights on dash. Any clues anybody?
