hi guys..i just replaced the driver side electric window motor and everything works ok with the door open..but the minute I close the door the window opens half way..if I sit in the car and hold the button up the window will go up to the top but then go straight down to half way again..window...

thinking of swopping my 2010 rcz gt for a Mitsubishi l200 if anyone interesed

I no what u mean but if it skipped 7 teeth that is a lot and would notice more than it just turning of fast with no rattles or knocks surely

I already have new timing chain etc (not fitted yet )....the garage said he has re timed it cuz it was out by 7 teeth but like I said there is no visible damage at all...and if it was out by 7 teeth I am sure I would here a knocking or see the damage to the valves when the rocker was off..

moved my car about 4ft the other day to clean it...few hours later I had to nip out.. started car but it died after missing for a few seconds and then would not fire but was turning over faster than normal.. friend came out with his testers and said I am down on compression ..rocker cover then...

thanx guys but I done all that after bsi reset..problem still there.. driver door shut and after a while I watch it go up and down as if there door being opened and closed and then it open half way and stop then open all the way and from then on nothing cant close it so take battery off a while...

sorted spoiler..all I did was take car out and drove it up to 70 mph...5 mins later spoiler was working again :)

yes I reset the bsi but still have the same problems...is there a fuse for the spoiler because I am not getting a light on the button ? thanx
