If your car is 13 months old doesn't the 3 year manufacture's warranty get transferred to the new owner?

Might help to know a little more about your car eg what bhp, as that would give answers to which engine you have, as I assume a 156 bhp has a different turbo to a 163 or 200 or 270. Is it out of warranty etc.?
