Oil leak from turbo

I have just started getting oil leaking from what looks like the oil inlet for the turbo. I was wondering if this was a common fault and what is needed to repair it? Is it a case of replacing a crush washer etc or is a new pipe needed?

Might help to know a little more about your car eg what bhp, as that would give answers to which engine you have, as I assume a 156 bhp has a different turbo to a 163 or 200 or 270.

Is it out of warranty etc.?

sorry, its the 156 GT THP, think its a 2010 model. Yeah it is out of warranty unfortunatley

Could possible be a leaking seal - Cold weather doesn't help ........... is it smoking?

no its not smoking, the oil is just running down the side of the turbo and onto the exhaust heat shield. It's coming from the oil feed pipe where it goes into the turbo with the banjo bolt. We've ordered a new pipe now so we'll see how that goes.

Replaced the pipe today, it looks like it was leaking where the banjo was crimped onto the pipe. Fingers crossed the new pipe seems to have cured it
