Getting fed up of polishing the roof bars so finally had them wrapped in Matt black…supplied/fitted £250….

Had mine done with a local guy came to the house whipped all 4 off and rubbed down and painted in back of his van… Came in at £40 per wheel (£160)… I didn’t expect factory finish at the price but kerb marks all gone and fresh paint n lacquer on them…

Car was fitted with pi springs all round...to be honest I wouldn't dream of cutting springs but thanks for the info..

As its fitted with lowering springs some of these aftermarket springs do fail that's what I'm starting to think..Looks OK on the car but stripping it all back down is on the cards🥺

Had an Indy garage do the work so wouldn’t know exactly what has happened so going back in for more tourer look.

Totally get where you coming from but until I get to the bottom of it as to why it’s coming on it’s staying off…I’m even in two minds to get a cheap £12 sensor off eBay just to give it a try for the hell of it

I Finally have disconnected the plug even after giving it a reset warning message still coming up….So for now no warning messages 🥳…..until the next warning message…

Prices on them have jumped up I paid £75 roughly for mine last summer some of them were £45 but there are different variants…so make sure you get the correct one it’s a ruddy nightmare to replace

I done a small thread on this in the past as Pedro says there’s more than 1 variations,I had mine for roughly £75 eBay myself and a friend changed it on my drive….I won’t be in a rush do that job again from what I remember it was a pig of a job!

Forgot about this thread…It turned out to be Thermostat had a job getting the right one as there’s different variants I did a small right up on here on changing it as I found it a little sod to change…Heaters work great but I still find they take a little longer to get warm compared to my other...

I Remember a video on YouTube doing the rounds of a guy doing an R up from damage I'm wondering is it the same one as there's only a handful in the country...

I'm so tempted to bid for the R but I'd rather view it in the flesh...they say the camera don't lie but some of the cars I've bought on ebay etc the camera does lie...love to know what the reserve is

It's up to £2600 plus fees...until I bought an Rcz I never heard of an R model such a rare car so be good to see it rebuilt put back on the road... Love to see it in the flesh impossible to know how much work it will need going by the photos...

I’ve had countless cat damaged cars over the years i currently have a 2009 Megane mk3 1.5dci cat s bought from a local auction paid roughly £1000 going back 3 years ago had only done 33,000 miles probably spent a long time in a car breakers…only used for work local steelworks and it’s been 100%...

Would of saved me £79…..Will give it a go in the week if it doesn’t clear that plug be coming off;)……now where’s that 3rd can of beer..
