    Rear Spoiler

There is a long straight(ish) stretch of road leading from a village near me called Grimethorpe. A slow moving car had been holding an MGF and myself up for some time. When we got to this road, the MGF went round him, followed by me. I decided to carry on past the the MGF & he decided not to...

    Rear Spoiler

I think from reading on this forum it appears to be one of the things everyone thinks is faulty. When you press the switch, you can see the spoiler, so you can't understand why you can't see it when driving. It is as simple as the two stage deployment. Press the switch, it goes to stage 2 &...

    More crazy Europeans

Re: More crazy Europeans At what speed does the rear spoiler do that ? !!! :wtf:

    Rear Spoiler

I had exactly the same concerns when I first got my Z. Try as I might, I couldn't see the spoiler deploying at 50 mph. There are two ways of finding out if its working. Tear a tissue into confetti size pieces, manually raise the spoiler, place the tissue under the spoiler and manually lower...

    RCZ features in Hollywood movie

They should have gone for the old Black Sol's on a Moroccan with Black Arches though, thought Will would have known better

Keeping the RCZ clean in this weather

Quick rinse with warm water before my Z's bedtime, flick with a leather & all is good with the world again

    Z's First Snow !

From Snow to sheet ice this morning, but yet again the Z didn't disappoint. No unexpected loss of grip, wheel spin exactly where I thought, very controllable behaved really well to be honest. Feeding power in is the key, and anticipating where the grip will disappear. I think the main problem...

Squealing brakes a very low speeds on my RCZ R

Same problem, been developing on front near side over last few weeks. Going in for winter safety check at some point so will ask them to look at it then. Had brake discs and pads checked early December, dealer said all was good so like you, a bit baffled :eusa-think:

    Z's First Snow !

Yes 'fraid so, good old original well worn summer tyres, (well worn - 3.6mm front 6.5mm rear) I know the old saying about pride and falls, but I have been on extensive skid-pan training, high speed driving training, and I am EFAD trained (emergency fire appliance driving). I have only once been...

    Z's First Snow !

Good point Rizz & well taken As for cleanliness, normal service is now resumed.......... Does anyone know of a quick cure for frostbite ? :o

    Z's First Snow !

So, just got back from taking my wife to work. The snow isn't as deep as last night, but it's been replaced by very crunchy thick ice (Z reported -1 all the way there and back). Handled like a Chelsea Tractor! Very responsive steering, used the handbrake on a couple of quiet corners (after...

    Z's First Snow !

Special Yorkshire Snow, but typical at this time of year, ordered it for a White Christmas, get it 24 hours late :eusa-whistle:

    Z's First Snow !

So tonight saw my Z's first snow encounter, BUT I'm not going anywhere tonight. Just hope it's all gone by morning  Not having driven a Z in the snow yet, I was wondering if someone with this experience would care to pass on how they handle.....

    Steering

Like Chris says, front suspension top mounts on mine were replaced by Peugeot on a "notice" to their dealers. I didn't get any pulling one way or the other, but I did get some distinct "clunking" noises, especially over small road imperfections, but weirdly, not over speed bumps at low speeds...
