So, this morning, decided to go out & try the power button reset thingy, and guess what, there were 4 satellites visible, and my car was actually wher it really was :wtf:
So, had a drive & all was OK, so haven't done the power button thingy yet. Strange how it has cleared itself up at the same...
Now you mention it, also had two people pull out on me yesterday, and an old lady in a micra driving straight at me on the wrong side of the road.
Maybe my entire car is becoming invisible.... :eusa-think:
Can't see it myself though
:auto-car:
Haven't tried planning a route since it started playing up. It does sometimes seem to pick up where I am, but then the next time I look at the screen, I'm in the middle of fields, or driving across roads in a housing estate no where near my actual location.
I will give the power button a go...
I checked mine the other day and the level was spot on. When I came back from a run and I had other issues (see thread regarding oil level warning) I noticed the coolant level down near to minimum. When I went to top it back up, as I opened the expansion chamber, there was a similar rush of air...
So, it appears not to be my week. My Z has now taken to showing me driving through fields, and across roads, nowhere near my actual location.
It is also showing 0 satellites visible - maybe something to do with my on map off-roading antics.
Is there someway of re-setting the system? Not sure...
There may be a limit as to the size the system software can recognise? Usually though in that case, if the system can work with up to say 1Tb and you put in a 2Tb you would simply get 1Tb showing.
That's why you should all have parked in a flock, is it a flock of RCZ's? Maybe it's a herd? :wtf:
So here's today's task, we need a collective noun for a group of RCZ's :eusa-think:
So, haven't had chance to go to the Pug money Pit, but, more importantly, as RCZ1 said, time is a great healer.
So far today, NO warning messages. This just leaves the concern that I may have added more oil than necessary due to the absolutely marvellous dipstick supplied by those wonderful...
Pretty sure it's nothing to do with the coolant. It's the sensor that is faulty. I think it's one of the occasional common faults with the Z.
See thread viewtopic.php?f=26&t=3925
Yeah, my thoughts too, was thinking about it in bed last night & thougt it was worth a drive through. Explaining & just getting them to check the oil level. If they can't see where it's at there's something wrong :eusa-think:
Cheers guys, yes, my Father-in-law used to be head mechanic for a Vauxhall dealership some years ago, and he said, does your car have a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust - no. Does your car leave oil on the ground - no. So your car shouldn't be low on oil. (vastly simplified but kind of...
