    Sooo disappointed! Fault codes P1030 & P1062

Please don't be put off by my post. The percentage of Mk1's out there with these issues is going to be very low. I don't actually know what the difference in percentage faults is between the Mk1's & Mk2's, it's just that there seems to be more Mk1 owners on here with these "common" faults. Put...

    Sooo disappointed! Fault codes P1030 & P1062

Yes it's the Mk1 as the Mk2 weren't introduced until 2013. I think if you decided to trade it, you might get away with it if it had been repaired and was running ok with no fault codes. I'm not sure that they would have recorded your issues at the dealers you had tried. If you do decide to...

    Sooo disappointed! Fault codes P1030 & P1062

If you know of or can have recommended a non dealership garage, it might be worth getting a quote from them, but of course, you do risk spending a smaller amount of money for a non permanent repair. Just make sure they offer some kind of warranty on the repair. Possibly time to think about...

I lov my Rcz apart from the fault any suggestions??

It might be the HP fuel pump. This can be a cause of difficulty in starting when the engine is warm, and it is not uncommon on Z's, especially Mk1's. The electrical issues could be connected to the car draining the battery when attempting to start with insufficient fuel pressure. This is a...

    Hello from New Zealand

The first picture of an RCZ I ever saw had that colour. I liked it. I was a bit disappointed when I found out that the production models all seemed to have either silver or black. But I'm happy with my black arches anyway. Let's face it, the car is such a good shape, almost any colour would like...

    Coronation sr

I can remember when Ken Barlow was a spotty teenager, underworld made corsets and pantaloons, Newton & Ridley were trying to break into the brewery trade, Ena Sharples was a bit of a Diva & Kevins garage was a stable

    Hello from New Zealand

I think the arches would look pretty good in that colour, it's a bit similar to the champagne colour on the original RCZ concept car. I have the black pack, so the horizontal bars on my grill and the Peugeot name are all black. Great news on the repair though. Hope that's the end of your...

    Hello from New Zealand

Sounds like your dealers could show the ones here in the UK a thing or two on customer service. Over here they try to get out of doing repairs that ARE covered by warranty, let alone trying to get out of warranty faults done for free. :o Hope you get it sorted, let us know how you got on with...

    Just a question or two.....

Torque steer, my car generally only ever sees the speed limit twice on a journey, once on the way up & once on the way back down, & I can't say I have ever had much of a problem with torque steer. It is noticeable at times, but certainly manageable. You will get to know when it's likely to be...
