It also took the same dealer 4 attempts to sort out a "0 satellites visible" issue I had with the Nav. Eventually replaced the GPS aerial under warranty.
3 attempts to solve a leak on the windscreen washers. Eventually replaced a pipe to the headlight washers under warranty.
All minor issues...
Aren't we all?
Front suspension top mounts replaced FOC but set of locking nuts sh@gged by dealer removing/replacing them. Cost me £40 - nothing to do with them of course, even though they were fine before it went in & useless when I got it back. I even approached Peugeot UK over it, not the...
I have seen an R advertised, and on the spec list was heated seats, so unless it was an error, it must have been an option at some stage.
If you do have them, you'll find the switch on the side of the seat - at the bottom just where you can catch it with your leg turning it off as you climb in...
Re: Replacement alloys + winter tyres for my 'R'. 235/45/R18
I haven't heard of anyone fitting 18's to an R. I have a GT 200 and it was my understanding that 18's wouldn't fit the front on mine, so I would have thought they were too small for the R.
I think that was a disgusting thing to write on a forum like this and I am thoroughly shocked.
Now if you had said covered in peanut butter..... :eusa-whistle:
Get it down to your local Peugeot dealership.
They'll change the Carrot a couple of times, do three full water changes, then tell you it was the bucket that was faulty :eusa-think:
Had a think about this. Ask at your local taxi firm what they do. It must happen often to them, and I believe there is only a £25 "fine" if you are responsible for the vomit, so I'm guessing they don't pay any more than that to get it sorted, and I have yet to get in s taxi that smells of vomt...
To be fair to Peugeot, this isn't a modern thing, nor is it restricted to Peugeot.
Many years ago when the Audi 80 came out, I had one just out of warranty, which refused to shut off the auto choke. I could drive for more than an hour, yet when I parked up, the choke was still full on. Petrol...
Found http://www.totalperfection.co.uk in your neck of the woods. I believe they have a good reputation. Maybe a call first explaining the problem & see if they reckon they could sort it :eusa-think:
Seeing how difficult it can be to get actual "faults" repaired under warranty, I doubt very much that any accidental damage would even be considered by Pug.
That was just a small minded guy with a big problem. It took rather a long time to stop the abuse he gave others simply for voicing their honest opinions.
I think the mods took it quite hard that they thought it was their fault for not acting quicker.
I think it did spoil the forum for quite a...
The smell will probably go over time, maybe Fabreze or similar might help? The fact that there is still moisture there will probably emphasise any lingering smell. It probably won't be as bad when dry, but I feel for you buddy, if it was mine I wouldn't be a happy bunny.
Ahhh, seen them, didn't know what they were for, I just keep cleaning them :eusa-whistle:
Yes, it sounds like a right pain in the wallet. Maybe even worth an insurance claim, depending on your premiums. :eusa-think:
It would be interesting to see the result of the deployment, although I'm...
