Good idea joining the forum, GREAT idea buying an RCZ. There are some knowledgeable people on here, some with the experience of owning several RCZs so you should be able to find out almost anything you need to know.

How old is the car? Can Peugeot help out? I don't know what the situation is with Peugeot dealerships in Australia?
You say you only had the car a week when this happened, can you not take it back to the seller - the problem must have been...
So, just had a security system installed, which runs in infra red after dark. Some weird effects when viewing the Z. It becomes quite obvious which parts have been painted using a different type of paint, so are probably the plastic parts ?

My dealer insisted that they do not automatically "offer" any software or hardware updates. They will only check for them if the customer complains about a specific issue, then they will check to see if there are any notices about that issue.

Four point lift or low level trolley jack is the way to go. Some have used an adaptor with a trolley jack for the jacking points, but I don't even trust that.
I made an adaptor with a hockey puck, but I only use the cross members with my trolley jack.
