I swapped the original Conti fronts for Hankook's, but they didn't last long either, & the grip wasn't brilliant, I've just put Michelin super Sport 4S on the front. So far, excellent grip, too soon to know about deg. :eusa-think:
All I can think is that the "notice" from Peugeot states only change what is absolutely necessary. Mine must have both needed doing.
Because your car is still quite new, I don't suppose it will make a noticeable difference to the handling / ride if they only do one.
As you you have said though...
I have no experience with the NG4 unit, but with the RT6 if you turn the ignition off, then press the power button on the head unit, it stays on (comes back on) until it goes into eco mode, but I can always fill the car and turn the ignition on before this kicks in.
If that's also possible with...
I was told there was a notice from Peugeot UK to replace the top mounts. This is only done in the event that the owner reports an issue with them, or if the garage sees a problem with them during other work.
In effect this is not a recall, just a notice to replace.
They should be replacing both...
It does sound suspiciously like a HD failure.
If it has had a zap, HD's notoriously don't like that kind of thing.
If you can get hold of a new cable to just try it, it might be worth while going down that route, but I don't hold out a great deal of hope.
Maybe you could find a techie that...
It might be worth a try re setting the system while the disc is in the slot, when the system re starts it will read the disc in the slot first, and maybe...........
What firmware are you running, there was an update for the RT4 & RT5 units to 8.31 which corrected a few issues. It's available at

Worth updating to the latest software even if it doesn't correct your fault. :eusa-think:
:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:
You have probably already looked, but there have been a few Z's breaking on EBay, so that's a possibility.
Looking forward to seeing your pics once you get things sorted.
