It is actually the estate that is liable for the debts, but ultimately, as executor, the money will come out of whatever is left as my inheritance, so it is in my interest to try to minimise any costs involved. In the case of the car, leaving it until after everything is sorted was going to cost...
This month has been a very difficult one for me so far.
My Brother died after a very short illness on the 1st of June. It has been a very sad time for me after losing both my parents and my sister over the last 3 years.
I am the executor of his estate, and he had a 66 plate BMW 420D Sport...
It is possible to adjust the sound level for the front & rear parking sensor beeps using Mirascript I don't know if the indicator volume can be adjusted in the same way?
I don't think I have ever seen this, maybe someone has done this using Mirascript and can advise further. :eusa-think:
I can see the attraction, and some of the above look quite good, but my personal preference is a naked Z. But, as has been said on these pages many times, it's your car, it's your choice.
Having said all that, I think I would be more than a little miffed if my drive shaft went at 32k.
In fact, following the theme of how long things last depending on how they are used, I think my engine has probably got @ 5 or 6 more miles left in it
Let's face it, someone went to a...
It does of course depend almost entirely on how the car has been driven. "Normal" cars that are driven around doing school runs & shopping trips will not have the same strain imposed on such parts, and may well go on forever, but if you push the car, especially on a regular basis, parts will...
So, after years of dithering, I finally decided (out of manufacturers warranty now) to get a new panel filter. I have read so many different views on K&N vs Pipercross, my head was spinning. It seems that those who like Pipercross say they are better than K&N & those who like K&N say they are...
I genuinely believe that the RCZ will at some point be classed as a design classic. I don't think it will be in the near future, in fact, I would say very few current owners are likely to still have their Z's when this happens.
I think there has to be a lot fewer cars on the market before the Z...
So, as recently posted, viewtopic.php?f=28&t=10676&p=126573&hilit=Michelin#p126573
I am finding these tyres the dogs dangly bits. They are so much better than the hankooks, although they did wear so quickly, when they were new they were ok, but hopefully, I will see a few more miles out of...
Hmm, maybe a dealership or auto electrician is the way to go, unless you can source a replacement unit and manage to swap them over yourself :eusa-think:
If it doesn't involve a can of WD40 or a hammer, it's usually a bit beyond my technical expertise :eusa-whistle:
I read about a totally unrelated issue, where a BSI reset did the trick, only for the problem to recur, then a second BSI reset resolved it. Can't find the thread, and can't remember what the issue was, but maybe a second go at some point might just work :eusa-think: (or maybe it won't)...
